Iridiscent Head + Infantry Belt = One shot hatchets with backup.
Bandaged Haft + Oak Haft = Faster transition to a Melee Hit.
Begrimed Head = Combine with Nurse's Calling to know where to aim for the larger hitbox.
Glowing Concoction = Interesting to start winding up your hatchet behind a wall after you hit them with a hatchet. This gives them almost no time to react since you can aim behind the wall. But compared to fast hatchets, it is lackluster.
Flower Babushka + iridescent Head = Best add-on combination by far if you believe in your skills to land hatchets.
Of course you can make your own mix of theses add-ons.
Everything else is situational or bad. You probably won't ever need them.
+ TINKERER.
Don't forget Tinkerer.
It just makes it from very nice to SUPER SHOTGUN NICE.
Bandaged Haft + Oak Haft are nice to get started with. Add-ons that give mangled and exhaustion effects are also good beginner add-ons.
I know it's tempting to just throw on the easier add-ons but you'll be amazed at what you can learn w/o them.
Yeah I know that you can loop her on Farm for example (had that yesterday too, when that Nea liked to run around the pig tree but I still got her.) I'm not good with Billy so I wanna try her, since Nurse is also kinda hard for me. I think at the end it's about trying to know how to throw the hatches and when it's better to hit the survs.
Mana grass + anything else
Those are your best addons builts.
You dont need to combine both. You should learn the timings of both.
my build with huntress is this (slug build):
Nurse calling: when they are healing their hitbox is bigger, throw a hatchet to them when they are static healing themselves or others, even if their are behind something its easy to hit the shoot.
Deerstalker: slugging stuff, you have to what you have to do
bbq: meta perk
Shadowburn: others will say its useless, i've been using this perk for more than 700 hours with huntress.
It helps to spot people but most important for me helps to aim easier at long distances which is very important. Probably due to my sens, since im a wrist aimer player, not an arm one.
I dont use whispers since is not that hard to spot someone at the start of the game and that and the hatch gameplay are the reasons to run this perk so, it is good but i dont see it as a must have.
I dont use ruin because it gets removed half of the games at the start, and the other half 1 minute later, so since huntress is a slow killer and not very strong defending it i dont like it. You can delay gens just by slugging if you need to.
Huntress is a very rewarding killer to master, fps background helps to take skill with her, what you will need to learn, are the ways survivors move to dodge your hatchets. Lots of times you dont aim where they are, but where they will move to dodge. It is kind of a mindgame, but most of the time they do always the same.
Huntress can down people faster than nurse depending on the situation if you hit all your hatchets. She can also down people running straight forward at 40 meters, if you aim good.
I see it very very strong, she can also shoot through some loops, like little gaps on props.
She is my bae.
The Exhaustion, Hindered, and Mangled add-ons work pretty decent. Anything applying a status effect will help, but they aren't as useful as extra hatchets or faster wind-up. Exhaustion is especially useful if you can get them before they hit the Sprint button. Not having to deal with Sprint Burst or Lithe helps immensely since the Huntress has a slower pace.
Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt is OP, so expect a whole lot of salt in the post-game if you use them in combination. Especially if your aim is pretty good. It can feel like you are a steamroller at times, which it should tbh because you're using 2 Ultra Rares. Just don't expect too many gg's. Lol
If you feel you need to work on your aim though, look for those Survivors who are really good at dodging and tunnel them. I've done that in a number of matches and gotten much better with my throws because of it. Frequently, the person I'm chasing would stop and wait til I refilled, then keep on with the chase. They could tell I was trying to work on my aim, and a lot of the time they're more than happy to do so since it means some good BP for them. I would generally just hook them once and give them a pass afterwards, but that's up to you. I just felt it was a decent thing to do since they were willing to help me better my game.
dont hear to survivor main bs, you can use charge addons with huntress, long shoots are much easier to do since the hatchets get longer distances with less time charging.
I mean, when i play survivor i dodge most huntresses that have babushka so its not an easy mod unless you are really good with her, and that takes skill and time mate.
But all of Huntresses addons are good, literally not a single one is straight up bad.
