Scratched Mirror Myers

So I've been trying killers I've never bothered with before and I've been leveling up/running Myers lately. He's at 50 now. I wanted to try him out because I've heard of jump scare scratched Mirror builds that sounds like allot of fun in theory. But so far, I can't figure out a good strategy to even get 1 or 2 kills. I try sneaking then off gennies, but no one is that easy even as low as rank 13. No matter what angle I come from, they always spot me at the last second and prevent the free grab. So at most I get a surprise hit, but then there's no way to get a second hit in EW1. Just loops and pallets for miles.

So aside from burning a sacrifice to get me to Larry's institute where this build could actually work, any other tips out there for making a scratched Mirror build work? Or is it just not practical right now? I know Ruin is a must with Myers, but I don't have it yet. Running PWYF is hit or miss to counter the low speed since you may or may not find your obsession. I run bamboozle and/or BS sometimes, but those don't help. In the era of fast genny rushes, Myers is hard enough to play, and scratched mirror just seems even more difficult, but I really wanna make it work just for the fun factor.

And a quick side note, I'm a decent killer. Usually 3-4k every have with killers I usually play. Plenty hours in the game, so I'd like to think I'm not just "bad" at it : ).

Scratched mirror Myers is a great build and loads of fun, but only on Lerys. It can work on other maps but you wont dominate the game as much as you can on Lerys due to bad line of sight for survivors there.

I never took Ruin with scratched Mirror and I still had a ton of fun with the build, but do take Ruin when you eventually get it, it makes it so much better.
