They dont even need to fix it. Just fcking ban people that do such stuff. Sending in a video and a report should be enough. But there isnt even a real reporting system for cheating in this game, which I totally dont understand. Every online game has that....

all it would take to fix is make it so flashlights have a slight cooldown between clicks, any limitation on the amount of time between clicks would do and wouldent ♥♥♥♥ with timing blinds as no player using a flasihlight normaly would be affected by it.

Killer does not get punished. Killer keeps all of his points and pips as appropriate.

I encounter people using that macro already, and it made survivors dced, which I find rather pathetic and funny from the dude who did that;;
They usually try to get your attention, and when ever they are outplayed/about to be downed, they use it, makes me laugh all the time xD

A macro is a program that can create mouse and keyboard shortcuts.

There is a certain new shortcut that survivors are exploiting to spam the flashlight so fast that the P2P server will crash as it can't process that many actions at once.

You might be wondering: "why can't EAC ban them?" Well that's because so many people use macros on their PC's for many different reasons other than exploiting and they would gain a lot of backlash for banning random people like that.

But that would require the devs, to get their heads out of their dark place and actually do hotfixes for gamebreaking issues. Like temporarly disabling maps, when there are unreachable spots on them. But since the devs can not even do something as simple as that, I doubt that they can come up with a reasonable change for the flashlights.
