How to avoid/not get looped
I'm don't really care about ranking up I just play for fun, but when I get looped for 5 minutes and most of the gens are done I get frustrated. I usually tunnel the guy cus there is no chance I can kill or get another player down in 1 or 2 gens so people flame at me in endgame. I just want everyone to have a good time in the game and I don't WANT to tunnel/cam but sometimes I have to.

only way to not get looped is playing nurse mate, you can reduce some loops with some killers but not avoid them
Learn to cut loops as tight as possible, dont commit to large loops.

The easiest way to not get looped it to play Nurse or at least Huntress, since she can toss hatchets over vaults. Doctor can prevent looping if timed correctly but even be can be looped hard depending on the situation (the survivor doesn't throw down the pallet so they get an extra loop in).

The basic way is to not try and mind game. You eat the pallet as quick as possible and break it so no other survivor can use it. Some pallets are also unsafe to vault by a survivor so knowing which pallets to break and which to not will save you some time.

Also don't waste your time with huge loops. It's hard to leave that survivor but you have gens to protect.

How long does it take to get decent at nurse?
Define "good".
You should be decent at around 5-10h of playing Nurse, at 20-25 you should be good already.

I've played about 2 hours and seems difficult, but I do better with a 1 perk nurse than a full clown so maybe I should start again

Though many Nurse mains would disagree (then again many Nurse mains say she takes hundreds of hours to learn), I'm gonna say you should first practice her with range add-ons so you don't get stuck on stuff, since the most important part of Nurse is prediction and being able to turn your camera fast, the blink-range is secondary in my opinion and using Horse + Pinecone made her a lot easier to start learning.

You want respect as a killer?

Learn Nurse. She's the only killer in the game who doesn't get cheesed.

Please disregard this person. They are giving you bad Nurse advice.

Take it from a Nurse main. You should learn Nurse without any add ons. You can use them later once you get experience.

Also, it usually does take a few hundred hours to become consistent with Nurse. She has a steep learning curve. You'll discover this as you reach higher ranks.

When I first tarted using Nurse I got stuck on rocks constantly, I switched to increased range to first be able to actually play the killer itself, now I can play with or without them.
Nurse isn't a killer one can even give proper advice on, because people have different weaknesses with her, for me it's tracking, whilst for some it's difficulty blinking in general, whiffing hits etc. and the onyl way to really learn her is play on your own and find your own weak points and ways to improve on them.
