NOED lasts until the first attack, after that it's revealed to everyone.
I agree MYC is worse since they know right away to be careful.
Normal one shot hit when M1 is used is caused by Exposed status. Deal with it
NOED at least doesnt give you anything you shouldnt know. (unless you hit an injured ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, whic his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)
You quote the wrong person
What's with your edginess? You got a problem with my question?
Are you for real?
How are the Status Icons training wheel notifications?
Why? Well...
It rewards me for doing well instead of bad.
It's not a Hex Perk.
The Exposed Status Effect doesn't protect them from the effects. (Besides, it makes them think twice before unhooking.)
True that, it's not a HEX.
Still seems weird that it alerts the Survivor, let alone, twice.
Imagine you get your first match against that Perk.
All you need to do is read the Perk descriptions after the trial.
Boom! Never be surprised again.
Not that I am surprised, it just seems that the mindgaming potential of the perk is sort of reduced with the Statuses being given away like that.
It would be good on Killer who could one-shot, it could be used to provoke people into trying to bodyblock or take an extra hit, but since they'd be unaware that MYC is affecting them, they'd be downed. That's just one example that I can think of.
I do believe status effect in this particular case is not really needed.
You see.. The game has been balanced for solo survivors being paired with SWF players. Funny why they haven't even bothered to touch balancing SWF to Killers.
Edit: It is the same reason why a killer who runs Ruin rank 2 or rank 1. The survivors who are NOT effected by that ruin totem, still get the notification that Ruin exists when they get a skill check.
