Did you connect the controller first before opening the game?
PS4 controllers require custom drivers to work on PC. Microsoft, duh, owns XBox so Windows ships with Xbox controller drivers.
Google it.
Also works for Warframe and DBD for me.
Pardon me then, I'm old. I am still using Windows 7 which does not include PS3 or PS4 controller drivers by default.
Then again, I have not tried to plug in a PS3/4 controller for a few years now. They may have added the device the approved W7 driver list. (Did Sony really pay $500 for a driver certificate? For PC? REALLY?)
Just got my PS4, so first I tested it on my PC. Connected it by bluetooth and it worked, connected with a USB cable and it worked too.
Automatically installed in about 5 seconds and worked right away.
Welp, I need to go buy a PS4 controller for my PC then. I have been using a crappy $10 Logitech pad. Which is fine for NES/SNES emulation stuff, but feels lacking with PS2 emulation and PC games.
But then again I could be entirely wrong.
