I'd say they're worth it if you're a good killer just for the variety of gameplay, but just be aware they are certainly some of the weakest killers.
LF = insidious LF is the best LF
Freddy has maybe two decent perks and usually spells unfun matches for both sides. Freddy is a garbage-to-low tier killer because he has to wait for the game to give him permission to injure the survivors (aka his power). The only time it can come in handy is late game when no gens are left for them to break out of the dream world. To top it off he can't stop people from healing his downed victim or preventing unhooks unless they are already asleep. His DLC is completely not worth it.
+Good perks
+Ability that allow you to break pallet and to hit multiple survivor.
+Only killer that have a total control over a survivor hooked : you can choose to camp him with chainsaw and kill him if you really want.
=Normal speed killer
-No real map control.
-Can be loop, gen rush and stealth.
-His chainsaw mask a part of the noise.
Freddy :
= medium perk for killer not necessary interesting.
= medium perk as survivor
= The face quentin seems a bit ... strange
= normal speed killer
+Really good against low rank
+Low terror radius.
+He put survivor in a state where their intereaction are slow down.
+He can see survivor he put alseep at some rank.
+You can't get bodyblock by someone in sleeping mode.
-You get slow down as you use your power on someone
-You need to wait the survivor fall asleep.
-You can still be loop.
-He can be stealth since you hear the lullaby, footstep and see the grass moving.
-To wake up you can use a perk , ask to a mate or do a gens. The efficency of his power is random.
-He has a short high, so your vision will be affected.
-You rely a lot of addons if you want to be decent.
-You have no good defensive ability (hook, gen, totem).
-Borrow time work on you even if the survivor is not asleep.
-There is glitch that allow the survivor to heal another and block the ability to take him.
-There is a bug that allow to survivor to shield a mate who is in dream world without taking any damage (it is mostly a problem against swf and if you are trying to hook someone).
If you really have some cash to waste, i would have said leatherface.
I bought both. I am pretty good at killer so I think I can do 'pretty good job' with freddy :D
Whereas Freddy is the worst killer in the game and the only decent perk he has is remember me.
But since you already bought freddy, prepare to get looped, teabagged, and have survivors pop gens and pick up dying survivors off the ground in your face.
He's so bad it isn't funny.
And LF is worth buying and leveling just for the perks since BBQ seems to never be on the shrine.
Pigface also gets genrushed but it's a bit more controlled.
Also Pigface has a chainsaw. These are your reasons to buy Pigface.
