The Pig - Is they key always in the last Jigsaw-box?

I've played a lot of games against the pig since she came out, about 30-40 i'd say. Literally, and i mean literally, every time i get a trap placed on my head, The key is always in the last Jigsaw box. This has killed me sooooo many times. I was just wondering if that's something that is supposed to be happening? it says on the wiki "A randomly chosen Jigsaw Box will be the Key to unlocking the Reverse Bear Traps, the others serve as decoys. Each Trap will have its Key hidden in a randomly selected Box" but this can't be right then? ofcourse it could've been bad luck if i would have played just a couple of games, but considering i've played as many as i have, there seems to be something wrong.

I think that the key is an pre determined box,I have seen people getting it really fast

I know where you're coming from. Was asking the same question. In my like first ~10 encounters with her it was always the last one.

It's pre-determined. However each box will only be correct once. Meaning a survive with friends group literally makes traps more useless.

Me: she trapped me
friend: i got it off
me: which box was your's
friend: the one near the small shack where the basement is

I now have a 33% chance of finding the right box instead of a 25% And this only goes higher as each trap is removed.

Its always in the last box, because to stop looking after you find it, making it the last box you checked.

When I play Pig - it's always the first box, sometimes the second one
