Survivors opinions about the perk: stake out
I just wanna know what other survivors think about stake out? Been using it a lot and honestly with my play style, I like it... Especially when going against ruin. I rarely go to find the totem so it helps a lot.

Its not really that great but it isnt bad; there are plenty of perks that can be used in its place though.

Helps a lot, especially if you are confident to hit great skill cheks and use this perk to back you up, when you fail. Good surviviors always have a priority to do "dangerous" gens, instead of totems, so this perk aids with that.

Destroying all totems is a secodary objective, so if you dont have important to do gens nearby, you go for totems. This perk allows you to gain 4 stacks, which is a guranteed way to have much progess against a totem, when you get back to gens.

Don't every perks can be replaced with the meta perks? Lol.

I like it, but I feel the time required to get a token is a bit too long considering how easy is to loose them. This unless you repair gens right next to a killer, in that case it's very good. In any way I see it a bit as a way to reward stealth since essentially every minute near the killer unfound means 400 points.

I love it. it counters ruin and is something that could possibly make it's way up there if used properly.
You're thinking of Detectives Hunch.

My only issue is that it consumes a token if you hit a great skill check.

Training Wheel perk. This is one of those perks that is of use to survivors who cannot regularly get great skill checks. Its the same kinda mindset as perks like Deja Vu or Technician - It gives a benefit to people who are still having issues with things people who have been playing a long time know how to do well already.

It's a bit more complex than the other training wheel perks, but the benefit is still in line with them: Great Skill checks instead of good for doing something kinda easy in most cases.
