The killer rank ladder explained.

Rank 20s

Rank 20 is truly a special place. Most of the killers here have just downloaded the game and are enjoying the game to it's fullest extent. They may suck at the game, but that's ok. Everyone around them sucks too. They will find their job easy regardless due to the survivors at this rank being Yams. Completely ignorant to the sorry state of the game. Perhaps for the best.

Rank 15s

Rank 15 killers have graduated from DbD kindergarden and are now essentially in grade school. Killer is still fun and they are still woefully ignorant to the uphill climb that awaits them. But for the mean time, they can enjoy bonking clueless survivors over the head.

Rank 10s

Killers here are slowly but surely realizing the glaring issues of the game. They get a taste of pallet looping around this rank. Though a foul taste indeed, many still press on separating the baby killers from the mature ones.

Rank 5s

Rank 5 killers now understand pain. They suffered to get this high into the ladder and know that all that awaits them is more suffering. Many turn back, the smart ones do atleast. Why do they chose to press on? Pride? Who knows at this point.

Rank 1s

These killers are only comparable to EMT workers. They are desenstized to almost everything. They repress emotions and simply do their job regardless. They are cold, calloused, and borderline masochistic. They like their humor like their coffee, pitch black and as strong as a morphine overdouse. For their struggle they can atleast say that they are some of the best killers in the world.


But at what cost?

Oh and I have encountered looping in earlier ranks too, like rank 12-16 already.

Meta perks and pallets that's all you need to be a rank 1 survivor.

This! I am still at rank 20 (been playing for almost two weeks, still I suck), and those trolling SWF-survivors are both miss-matched with rank 20's and there even are such rank 20's of these trolling survivors.

rank 1 is the most fun place as a killer imo. survivors are just too brain dead at any other rank and its boring to just be able to easily down them

I am a rank 1 killer and i choose to believe that Dead by Daylight is actually a rage game designed for the killer player, but the devs were too lazy to write an AI to steer the four survivors, so they employ the help of 4 random casual gamers off the internet so that I get my "entertainment".
