Also if the Obsession is the one opening gates then Remember Me won't apply to them
First of all you have to hit your obsession six times to get the most out of it (so catching them at a window or getting a one-hit down or something won't work. You actually have to hit 'em).
Then you have to make sure your obsession dies before the exit gates are powered, or else they'll just open the gate themselves. As Concharis points out, the obsession is not affected by "Remember Me" when opening exit gates.
And for all of this extra effort you get thirty seconds' added to the exit gate opening time. At best you might end up getting an extra chase and hook out of this. At worst it'll have no effect whatsoever. Blood Warden is way more reliable.
If there was a killer perk that straight-up just increased the time for the exit gates to be opened, it'd probably be usable. "Remember Me"... not the case IMO.
It's very, very rare that I don't get at least one extra kill after the exit gates are opened if the match lasts long enough. The one exception was when a SWF teammate told his buddies what he had after dying (still don't understand why dead survivors can see the killer's perks before the match ends btw).
Remember Me means if you tunnel a decent survivor, you lose 4 gens. in exchange for Remember Me.
Survivor was like "I was pissed you kept finding me" in post game chat. I was like "Really?"
Yeah... that's the case against Blood Warden... easily defeated by SWF teamspeak or survivor ragequits.
Like many things in this game it is hard countered by SWF. Much like my boy, Trapper. As much as I'd like the devs to do something about that Im not sure how they could stop people from using voice chat.
