can you not mori to get the adept killer achievement?

you can't mori, Merciless Killer victory needs 16 points which you can only obtain by sacrificing survivors on hook, each 4 points once they die on hook.

You can't get a merciless victory if you mori soomeone.

A merciless is given if you get 16 points towards pips. You get one point for each hook stage on survivors plus one for their death. So you get 3 points for hook stages + a death point on sacrifice. If you mori someone, you are missing out on at least one hook stage, costing you points.

Mori works, I've gotten several adept that way. Make sure you aren't running a fourth perk, double check that you have the four correct teachables, and try again. The achievement might be bugged.

I wasnt running the fourth perk, and I have all of her teachables
ugh I feel like all adept achievements are bugged for me rn, cause ive done a few and they just dont work

Mori works only if you hook them twice before that. Otherwise you'll only get two points from the death, and not enough to make 4 pips. You can mori.

Moris work CONDITIONALLY.

You mustn't Mori the Survivor before his second hook, if you do, you'll miss out on the necessary points.
