How about making Hangman's Noose work for Trapper's traps?
I'm not sure how it would make any sense thematically lmao, but it might make him viable against literally any team with a toolbox if he can use it as a counter perk when he sees that 4 man toolbox team pop up.

I'd rather they simply remove the ability to break his traps. I have never liked the idea of being able to remove his power.

The problem is that you can take away his power. The Trapper is the only killer where you're able to do that. Imagine if you could sabo Billy's chainsaw, or throw asbestos into the Nurse's lungs.

Well in a way Myers can lose his power in regards to gaining Evil, seeing as only a set amount can be drained from each person (which is stupid because why should you be punished if you happen to stumble upon the same person multiple times?). Although not directly the fault of the Survivor player, like breaking a Bear Trap is.

Yep. Myers's ability can be taken way at some point, but that's completely on him. Trapper's power can be taken away just because sabo jake spawned next to a bear trap.

You have control over losing your ability as Myers and it rarely ever happens unless you're using rare addons.

You have ZERO control over losing your ability as Trapper and given it's already pretty useless to any survivor who has a bit of experience it's kinda hard to fight and say "He's fine"

I was not trying to argue against that as much as say it is better now with just one minor tweak. I'm sure they tested putting them in lockers even like the axes.

Honestly they should just make his traps no longer spawn randomly around the map, but be refillable at lockers like huntress and be able to carry multiple at a time. Setting them off or afterbeing caught in them(either escaping or being grabbed by killer) makes then despawn.

what about sabotaging lockers as well just to give the same point opportunity.
