Has anyone been compensated for lost progress on DBD?

I logged on last night and some message popped up when i tried joining a swf lobby just to spend some BPs. it said something along the lines of save data has been deleted please close DBD, and one option of "Quit Game". So not thinking i did so (i read up that if you dont close the game and take precautions youll be okay but obviously i didnt know that). I now have every survivor and killer at lvl 1, killer and survivor ranks reset, no shrine perks unlocked anymore and all the tutorials popped up like it was my first time playing. I have 250 hours in the game, which i know isnt a lot to some of you, but is to me and im pretty rattled that its just all gone. I contacted the devs and want to know if this has happened to anyone before and if they have gotten a compensation or a save reset of some sort?

Many people were compensated. Just follow the steps, and ask for a compensation. It'll probably won't take as long these days as it did back then when it happened nearly on daily basis - so you might even have to wait for more than a week.

You still have to wait for a month.

What happens if people play during that month? Their compensation is added to what they re-achieved?

You can play. They will only restore blood points and those will be added up. Idk If its still the same but before you got an email before they restored the BP, in that email they ask you to not play for the next 24h so they can restore it without any weird issues.

Yes, they do compensate and I cannot give you a rough time estimate when you get your BP back. Also you can play as much as you want to!

thanks a lot man, im just gonna take this opportunity to get good at some killers i never played lest i lose rank lmao, hopefully its within a week, will post back here to indicate how long it took
