It seems to be the same as always.
Nope, hatch sound is definitly quieter. even dbd streamers say that.
Maybe this could be why Killers are having a hard time hearing Survivors too.
Yeah, I have noticed this as well. One match I was playing as the Nurse and decided to work with a survivor after the rest dc. I was going to give him the hatch, but couldn't find it; I must have circled around the map twice. Then he struggled, indicating that he heard it, and made a beeline for its location on top of a hill. I walked past that hill twice and didn't hear anything, but apparently he could.
As for the breathing, footsteps, etc. That has always been an issue, but the sound is pretty much nonexistent now. It sucks that survivors in essence have an innate iron will for the time being.
