What is "devotion" ?
If you look at your profile level, you can see something called devotion with a 0 for me (in green). Is this related to the amount of reports you get ?

This information is found in the ingame news section. Basically devotion is related to player xp, which in turn is gained every game. At 100 player levels, you gain one devotion level, which will then reset your player level back to 0, and increase the amount of xp you need to gain another level, as well as the iridescent shards you gain with that xp.

So 1 devotion level = 100 player levels. More devotion levels = more iridescent shards.

You get shards from leveling up I believe, but I'm sure there is more to it than that

wait wat??? I just came back after a break from the game but this makes no sense to me why require more exp and then give more shards that just means you need to grind more inbetween getting shards and its compensated with more shards meaning why not just leave it as is and just give you a devotion level then reset... I don't see a point :/

I’m devotion 1 level 16 you know what I got for it? Absolutely nothing. They said “one day we want to do rewards for devotion.”

They also said this about R1 gamers.. Their very first stream. Still waiting 2+ years for those rewards.

I don think there is anything beneficial about the devotion level. It is just a counter reset.

it is for future, once they decide what to do with it.
right now it's like rank in cs:go - you might be super bad but it only shows that you played much

Does it mean that like with devotion level 0 in level 70 you got 300 but with devotion level 1 you gain 350? or something like that? or you get the same amount

Same amount. Your devotion level is entirely cosmetic.

That said, this is a two year old thread that you've just necro'd.
