can't find ptb

so i have followed the instructions on the post, there is no public test button. i have tried entering the code public-test. still nothing. i have restarted steam twice, still nothing. is there any reason why i don't have the ptb?

Did you select it from the drop down arrow?

there nothing there except the opt out option

You right click on the game and look for beta testing; however, why do you want to test it. Someone lost their entire progress by opting into beta.

Right-Click the Dead by Daylight Application in your Steam Library
Access Properties
Access the "Beta" Tab
Select "public-test" from the dropdown
If download doesnt start try restarting Steam

i honestly couldnt care less, i hardly play the game anymore anyway

I have the exact same problem. Did u by any chance find a way to fix it?

Late. But a friend of mine fixed it by looking for the beta in the Big Picture mode of Steam.
