They don't take any money. The PTB is a test build with a SEPARATE save game, for testing purposes ONLY. Anyone who possesses the game on Steam will have free access to the PTB.

Your PTB save will be a copy of your current save-file which will not transfer into the main game, anything you use or gain in there will not show on your main save.

Also afaik everyone will have a certain number of the auric cells in the PTB which they can use for the cosmetics there, you cant buy them on the ptb.

Let me try to make it more understandable for you.

You will be able to buy the new currency with real money. My question is: If I buy that new currency with real money and get one of the new outfits, will I lose said outfit / the currency I just bought?
