New Legacyish skin for killers a survivors based on playtime.
I just thought of this and I thought it would be really cool if we could unlock a special set of legacyish type clothing for specific killers and survivors based solely on playtime. I am not talking about the traditional yellow legacy skins that people earned through the grindy bloodweb so long ago but a skin that everyone can earn with enough time that symbolizes their dedication to a specific character.

Basically make it 3 sets of clothing just like the prestiege clothing but instead of this legacyish type clothing being a shiny gold make it a deep, shiny blood red. Like your wearing the fire of hell itself. Each article of this glowing, blood red attire would be unlocked after say 150 hours of playing as that specific killer/survivor. So a full set would require 450 hrs total of playtime.

The goal of this clothing is to symbolize the absolute mastery of a killer. If you have this glowing, blood red outfit it means you know this killer inside and out. This clothing is meant to be a horrific grind and it is not reasonable to expect to get it on every character. It is a reward for all the time and dedication put into mastering your main.

What do you guys think. Thoughts and opinions?

Sorry but neither an altered bloody version will make it fit.

I would like to see more cosmetic with logo's and even with unique thematics !!!

Legacy must be keept to be only unique as A diamond :^)
I strongly disagree. I see no reason why the devs should not reuse the shiny skin in different ways.

I suggested last year glowing eyes for the other killers: Hag, Doctor and Huntress and they ended up adding glowing blue eyes for all of their original Killers. Which was a nice thing.

Now ... adding an look a like legacy skin ripped off from the original concept *again would be a shame and would lose his incentive of being an Unique-Ultra-Rare cosmetic*.

Some things aren't mean't to be achieved and we must deal with it.

Some people in this thread are comparing a lawnmower to a F1 car. Both have 4 wheels, right?
It's not a legacy!
Ikr legacy owners BARELY even wear legacy anymore, so I dont really know why people get so defensive over cosmetics they dont even wear lol.

Sadly true.

But i still use my P3 legacy trapper with proud so i can show dominance over the SWF and other ppl ...

Also Legacy's whatever being mostly used or not, still doesnt take away the unique cosmetic which shall remain Legit Mint Unique

People need to stop calling it a legacy ripoff. It's not a legacy ripoff. I only used the term legacy in my post as a comparison so that people can visualize how it might look with the shiny glow. It's a good idea that would not only look amazing but something everyone could earn. Why do you feel it would diminish the value of your legacy skin? It would look nothing like it. It's only similarities is that it glows.

Afk menuing in order to get skins? Dont think thats a good idea
Not afk menuing. I mean actual play time with that killer in a trial. It would be independent from your overall dbd play time.

Oh sorry, let me be more precise
Afk deranking in order to get skins? Dont think thats a good idea

They would have to do that for at least 450 hours of in trial playtime and then launch a new trial. If each trail lasts say 10 minutes with the killer just sitting there farming time while the survivors work that is 2700 trials he would have to farm for hours by sitting there doing nothing. If anyone is that determined to cheese it in such a painstaking, tedious way then they can have the skin. Can't imagine it would be all that fun tho especially since he has to keep making new trials every 10 minutes.

I thinks its a cool idea to support people putting much time in the game :)
Atanon 6/mai./2018 às 5:29
That's a really great idea. However, maybe earning the cosmetic should be based on the amount of 4 kill matches or collective kills with the specific killer to avoid farming.

Thats not a bad idea either. Maybe require 6000 sacrifices to the entity. 2000 sacrifices per each article of clothing. It could be a reward from the entity for the killers hard work and determination to feed it so therefor the entity grants a piece of itself to that killer.
