Can you get banned for camping?

Yesterday I was playing the new killer the pig and killed 2 survivors. Mind you they were really aggressive in their alturism as in they would be near the hook while I was hooking a survivor so in my mind why leave the hook if they are just going to take them off when I get a few meters away. So in essence I don't believe I was camping I even didn't tunnel that game.

Why do I bring up the question of is camping bannable. I truely feel I gave the survivors great chances to have a nice game but they were adamant about getting each other off the hook like not even 20seconds of hooking another came to save them.

The after game chat was horrific almost like I killed someone *lol*. The whole swf group said I was camping the whole time, but in reality they kept me in the same spot.
The chat progressed as I was explaining that I was really patrolling the area around the hook bc I saw tons of scratch marks and caught 2 like that during the game. So it progressed towhere they were like " report him for camping ", " bye bye account get rekt for camping ".
This raised some concern with me because bhvr already implimented a way to stop facecamping which I never did in the match and also I heard camping once was a viable killer method that "Isn't Bannable".

I understand there is a way to turn off the endgame chatbox at the end of a match, but I do enjoy a chat at the end if everyone is a good respectful human being... very rare though. Lol

Also the pig is a very fun killer catches alot of people offguard with the no terror radius lunge power.

No. It's a legit strategy, just like looping is right now. Yes it feels cheap sometimes, but Survivors still loop you all game so screw em, I'll camp till the cows come home.

The moment anyone in after-game-chat mumbles something about a ban and report-especially if it was a trollfest with an SWF- all you should do is laugh out loudly and just leave.
To your question: nope, never was bannable and since the Devs themselves do it- I guess its meant to stay.
Saltyness is still strong when you do it, though. So expect some BS like the one you already witnessed, althought in your case they brought it onto themselves (which they would never admit of course ).

Camping is the unique strategy against SWF, i don't know why but every SWF group go make a hook save rush when your buddies down, it's when killers makes a hit party
