Clown swing hit box is broken?

I was playing a game, no lag at all. When i go to 360 the clown he hits me still, im not the best but i recorded it and watched it over and several times i should have been out of range, is his mele range longer?

He has the same lunge as everyone else, but much like Freddy, his weapon is visually shorter than a weapon like Trapper's machete.

This perpetuates the illusion that it's longer than it really is.

Didn't even look like a lunge to me, looked like an M1 that snapped the animation.

You weren't even far away enough to need to lunge to register a hit, distance certainly wasn't the operative factor here.

If your used to getting away from a hit by just doing THIS, you have not yet faced a good killer... to be honest, not even mediocre ones.
