Which controls are the best ?

First of all, thank you for reading this.

My problem here is that I'm new and as such I am still trying to figure out which controls work the best. Currently I can't look around myself without running in whichever direction I'm pointing . The problems I encounter the most is that I don't know which killer is after me or when to use a window or to bring down a pallet.

I'd like to hear any tips you are willing to share.

Put crouch and skillchecks to the thumb buttons on your mouse. Other than that the default controls are fine

I play with default. Only change I can suggest is using your mouse for Skillchecks.

I use E for Primary Interactions(Generators, Self Care, etc) and F for Secondary Interactions(Toolbox, Med-Kit, etc) and left click for skill checks.

Just experiment and finds what works for you. It's the best advice anyone can give
