How to Handle Troll Survivors
3 dead 1 alive and he doesn't even attempt to escape. I have the hatch found, he doesn't look for it nor the generators and is testing my patience.

What recourse do I even have? I'm a Hillbilly, I can't really track him well. Been in here for 45 minutes now.

report for what. he's not keeping the game hostage. you can end it by hitting the survivor and losing your doublepip. hell, in 45 minutes he probably went to go do chores or something.

If the survivor is not actively trying to complete his Objective then actually yes, at this point it's keeping the game hostage. The killers objective is to kill and stop survivors from escaping.

Since the hatch is now an objective, he needs to guard it. If the survivor hasn't done ANY Generators during this time, then he is not attempting to complete his objective.

Not to mention that if the survivor went to "go do chores" that just further indicates he has no intention of doing anything other than waste the Killers time, which IS holding the match hostage.
Finally found him AFK underneath a boat like 15 feet from the hatch. This was absolutely ridiculous. This is why people play Leatherface then hook camp.

Send in a report, no one in this game should ever, ever have to wait 40 minutes to get anything done. Killer side, Survivor side, doesn't matter. That's infuriating to hear.

good thing is that this is a survivors game, you are only here for THEIR amusement. I recorded 2 guys walking around for over 25 minutes with 1 gen to go, they wouldn't do it, and even admited to stalling the game in the after lobby "we can do this all night" even after I sat in the basement for 10 minutes waiting for them to leave, reported them, but, they are survivors and I checked everyday, and they were still playing DBD, no one cares, as long as survivors are happy. Or, maybe 25 minutes to do one gen while the killer waits in the basement isnt considered "long enough"

record a video and report. 45 minutes is officially holding the game hostage.

incompetent moderation. Someone who openly admits to be holding the game hostage should be banned on day 1.

They need a time limit. Once the hatch is open you have 5 minutes until the match ends. If you complete a gen, the timer resets. I don't know why so many think it's fun to waste the killer's time, but they do it.

Were you camping the hatch?

If a certain amount of time passes without a generator being completed or and objective related actions being taking (this doesnt include tapping the generator for 1 second, It needs to be completed) The survivors aura should be revealed to the killer permanently. So lets just say the second to last survivor died, now the next survivor has 7 minutes for example to either attempt a hatch escape or to finish a gen, If in 7 minutes neither of these things happen, what i said above should take place, as well as the hatch closing. In a game thats 4v1 survivors should never have an advantage on the killer including in hatch situations, Their only advantage should be the fact that there are 4 of them.

That sounds pretty good. It's amazing nothing has changed so far.

If I find the hatch first, I don't camp it I just keep searching because I'd rather they just leave so the match can end.

If I see killer guarding hatch, I'll work on a gen and if killer comes to me I might make a break for the hatch. No good reason to do nothing.

As with so many things in this game, why blame survivors or killers? Look at it from their perspective. They have pretty much 3 choices - go to the hatch and be chainsawed to death. Do a gen and then you find them and chainsaw to death. Or do nothing and hope you get bored and move from the hatch.

Its not your fault for camping the hatch. Its not survivors fault (vs Billy) for not walking up to the hatch when a killer is there. Blame for this famous stand off is ofcourse the devs.
