Crashes or freezes associated to Update 1.9.0

Hello!

We're sensing a disturbance in the Entity's realm in the form of crashes and freezes seemingly associated with our 1.9.0 update.

This is an effort to collect diagnostic information so we can resolve these issues as soon as possible.

If your game on PC is CRASHING, it is likely the game has generated a callstack or log for the crash.

Please follow these steps to send us your crashlog:

1. Press Windows Key + R to bring up "Run".
   
2. Type this in the "Run" prompt: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
   
3. Locate the newest folder - this folder should be one with the exact "last modified" timestamp as your crash
   
4. Attach the file called "UE4Minidump.dmp" to an e-mail titled "Crashlog for update 1.9.0" and send it to [e-mail] - make sure to include a link to your Steam Profile in the e-mail!

If the game has not generated this file with your crash, feel free to write in this thread. We will be monitoring and moderating this thread to streamline interaction. Please do not post multiple times.

- Injuried
- With object in my hand
- Under a pallet
- Waiting killer to know if he following me !
- Chasing by the killer (Doctor, Freddy, The Pig) in proximity (less than 10 meters).

Sometimes, when i'm in the same situation, i have no crashes and all his perfect :(

the game freeze with music in background. No possibility to take a screenshoot by steam system (F12) or by Windows (Printscreen Button). I'm sorry but i don't have the "UE4Minidump.dmp" in my folder.

My game always freezes too. I can not send a file because it does not create a file.
I think that's an impudence from the manufacturer and would like a compensation!
I bought all DLCs and over 2000 hours of playing time and then something like that. That's not possible.
I am totally disappointed!

I had now 3 times game freezes in a row... and it didnt work anymore -.-" twice on my feng and one time on my Bill.... after i got hit, run away and the killer lost me, i also was close to a pallet... game freeze and i had to close the CLient few my Task manager, if that means ppl would get a ban bcs the game starts to freeze more often and u have to force stop it, great.... -.- one time it happend on Pre School and 2 times on Mcmillan, i cannot send a file also bcs it dont crash report it just stops working x.x i hope u fix that fast.... bcs i dont want to get banned and its the games fault lol the game freeze with music in background. Tested a lot of times on kill your friends mode, only me was affected.
The game always freeze when you are injured + have an object + pass under pallet.

Checked the Log directory and no crash report was generated (because I need to close the game)

My games frozen and I weren't using an object but everytime it freezes I was injured + walkin through a pallet.

Hope they solve this soon. Cause lot of people postin on my prfile that I am a bad survivor -rep bla bla and all bc the game freezes and I just want to play and be happy with my ♥♥♥♥.

Unfortunately the CrashReportClient.ini isn't of much use to the diagnostic process. However, I am beginning to see a pattern here and will investigate further.

My Game crashes When The Killer Is The pig,music plays in the background but i have to close the game via task manager,it just happens when the killer is The Pig(Amanda),when she starts to chase me

I've experienced three crashes so far. One as a survivor. Killer was the Pig. Not sure which map, but it was Coldwind Farm. It happened while she chased me up the harvester. When I arrived up there - she was only close to the object - it froze.

The other two Crashes happened when I played as the Doc. The first one happened, while I was in treatment mode and approached a locker. Wanted to check it, but it froze in front of it. And similar thing happened, when I was chasing somebody in treatment mode and came close to a vault, also facing it.
My game language was set to German at the time. Now after I changed it to English no freezes so far.

was trying to free myself and another survivor released me
as soon as i was released the game froze

had to terminate process to get out of it

No crashes but on first two days there was maybe 5 minutes match loading and then end game screen where i can see points.
Maybe it was due server overload or ssmth.

i always get frezeed when i can do two actions like heal myself or trow a pallet. Or when someone get hooked.

Hi, i have this problem too.

My game is freezing when i play as Doctor (didn't had time to test it with other killers) and try to vault something that is (usually) above the ground (like trucks at Coldwind Farm) and only way to leave is to use the task manager.

Game freeze too when i play as a survivor and get hit with (not sure) ambush attack from The Pig.

When i exit the game through the task manager, it don't leave UE4Minidump.dmp.

It's really frustrating. I've played 2 games and lost all of the bloodpoints because of this bug.

I have the same problem. Frozen Screen in the middle of the game when I was trying to hide myself. I can't send you a crash report since I have to force DBD to close via taskmanager.
