How the Jigsaw Boxes Work?

Not like game mechanics, I mean like in-game function/lore (if you will)

I tried peeking inside and there's a tube in the slots you put your arm in that's connected to the container in the center of the cage. (oddly though, only the right hand slot has a tube in it)

It also looks like there's a razor at the back part where you'd put your hands all the way in.

It looks quite similar to the 10 Pints of Blood trap[vignette.wikia.nocookie.net] from Saw 5, so my guess is that you reach your arm in, cut your fingers/hand on the razors in the back, use the blood to fill up x amount of the container in the cage, then a key comes out the right hand side? (there's a little slot looking thing there)

If that's the case it must really suck to cut yourself up just to get the wrong key :V

Inside the box are pieces of the wraiths bell, you have to reassemble it to get the key....

it's pretty much like a Jigsaw game, you have to hurt yourself to get the key,, would work better if you actually got some type of injury for failing to pass the skill check.. I've failed 2 of them while injured and nothing happened..

I still dont understand how Well make it works. "Yeah lets save dwight who if he trys to escape with a literal death trap on his head will Instantly die! Ya know what? Lets do it twice because its not sandbagging if i try even harder!"

What i kinda motivation do these people get when some scrwny white dude walks up and bites his nails that suddenly makes them learn how to fix Gens Better.

in lore the box should damage them.. in the movies his traps caused the person to take damage.. they had to decide if they wanted to hurt themseles in order to save themselves..

In the game the boxes not hurting survivors at all, just goes against the Jigsaw lore.. Kind of odd choice if you ask me..

Should be some kind of negative effect for trying.. like mangled or something..

it should be something, in the movies if you reach your hand into a trap like that, you're either losing a hand, or you're bringing back a bloody bleeding useless clump of fingers.. .. in this game, I guess the killer gets a fail notification or something..

Good point, in the movies they pointed out that Amanda only weighed 107 pounds (and therefore couldn't have been the one to pick up and place Kerry into the Angel Trap).
