Why can survivors see the Jigsaw boxes?

I saw the stream with the new killer's gameplay. I have to ask, why the hell can the survivor see the Jigsaw boxes through walls? Apparently there are add ons to remove it, but you shouldn't need add one to remove something like that..

with a 2 min timer i would have expected the boxes to be hidden :(

Because Survivors would cry if they cant see the Boxes and you know If a Survivor whines the Devs need to nerf this.

Yeah, they need to make it so they can't see the damn boxes and so the trap progresses even during a chase, maybe slower while in one though.

Remember that the RBT timer stops when you're on hook or in a chase AND it needs a generator to be powered to trigger the timer. The instances when you can't find the correct key during the timer + the additional time you have before someone powers a generator will be really rare even without these auras. It's the only thing that disturbs me - it sounds more like a "slowdown" ability than a real threat.

I saw a few rumors that not every box unlocks the trap, so that’s why survs can see them. Though like I said, rumors, don’t know for sure.

The only pay off should be if they use the wrong key it speeds up the timer.

Ohh I think I remember something about the right key. If wrong boxes progress the trap further, I'd be sold.

lately it seems like all the killers whine about everything survivor related being OP meanwhile they are absolutely trash at playing killer
