Is playing on Wifi illegal?

I am currently living in a temporary place where I do not have ethernet and can only play on Wifi. I love the game so I keep playing but lately the Wifi connection has become unbearable for me as a survivor and the survivors I play against. It isn't me intention to "lag survivors still" and I truly feel bad about it so I won't be playing killer anymore. But, is playing on Wifi a bannable offense? Again, I love the game and have no intentions on ruining other players' experiences. What is your opinion? Should playing on Wifi be legal or illegal?

No, it’s not bannable offence. It’s not illegal, you don’t go to jail for playing a video game. When you are playing killer however it would be good to play with ethernet. WiFi is unstable so it may cause lag for survivors.

DbD needs a stable connection to do well. Any hiccups, dips, or drops will cause real problems in lag, rubberbanding, and being unable to interact with stuff. Outside of dial-up, Wifi is the most unstable form of internet there is. So it leads to a lot of problems.

Is it against the rules? No. Will it give poor gameplay? Yes.
