(its from bloodborne by the way)
I'd like a werewolf as killer. He could get down on all 4 legs and be short and barely visible like pig - but get up on 2 legs to hit people. There are some interesting perks and powers to explore as well. I'd personally like if he has a power that gives him some map pressure, like the speed of billy.
One could allow it to stalk and ambush, another could allow it to be frenzied and chase survivors with fast speed. It could also have a howl ability to terrify survivors introducing a fear mechanic, which could make the survivor always hear the heartbeat or something.
edit: great pic, I can see DBD werewolf looking like that.
That'd be a real beast.
If they'd be having 115 %, and an ability to jump over windows and sprint at the same time for some discussed duration, it'd be considered OP, right? Because, Sally has to Blink, and gets stunned..
One of the Add-ons is more than sure - Mangled, Hemorrhage, Broken.
The werewolf would attack with his or her hands. Yeah... That brings me up to question, whether it should be a female or a male one.
After a successful Mori, I think, we'll all deal with a howling.
I'd be all up for him or her to be in the game.
No matter, if it'd be licensed, I'd buy it anyways.
Sometimes, the thought of being a real hunter instead of being a beautiful Killer, Rin, takes the first place in Killers in my case.
Ability: Blood Sense.
Your keen sense grants you the ability to track survivors without scratch marks. You howl loudly, notifying all survivors when you do this.
This ability allows you to smell survivors indicated by a visible red trail to sense where survivors have went off to.
This only tracks survivors recent movements, and your movement speed is decreased to 50% while you are sensing.
This is the 'anti stealth' ability. Blendettes will loathe it. Ideally, the killer goes to a generator, notices a survivor is missing, and activates their M2. This gives them a red trail to show them where the survivor ran off to hide, so they then deactivate the ability and go there. However, the survivor is notified when the killer does this, and can try to relocate themselves.
Obviously there is a cooldown.
Perks:
Rabies.
Press E to activate. Increases your movement speed by 10% for the next 5/6/7 seconds. When this ability ends, your movement speed is decreased by 20% for 10 seconds. This ability automatically ends upon the use of any secondary ability.
I am going to feast, no matter the cost.
Hex: From The Shadows.
A Hex rooting its power on hope.
As long as this hex remains active, you will remain hidden from detection. Survivor perks such as premonition, dark sense, and spine chill will not trigger.
The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.
They use the shadows to their advantage.
Quick Demise.
Each time a survivor is placed on the hook, the timer on End Game is reduced by 3/4/5 seconds.
The entity grows more excited every time one is brought closer to their demise...
...I mean this is stuff I just came up with on the fly. I'm sure it's as imbalanced as hell.
When I think of a werewolf I think of a beast more than a person or male/female and like wolves, in the wild, it's not obvious if a wolf is male or female. But I'd be fine if they took the legion approach and gave us a male and female model.
I love the idea of it howling when it moris a survivor, that would be awesome.
With rabies, it was my hope the werewolf would automatically be faster or could become faster somehow with its ability so it wouldn't need a perk for it. So I like the idea as part of its ability but not as a perk.
The hex totem sounds like it's going in the right direction but it also seems too weak for a hex if I'm honest. It's too similar to the third seal.
Quick Demise just sounds bad, I don't think killers want a perk that only affects end game and it doesn't really sound like a werewolf perk.
edit: Great food for thought, thanks for posting!
I like what Myu suggested - that sounds like sth different. It's important that his powers are pretty unique and not a copy and paste of other killers. If he can jump over vaults and pallets we would have the old legion-problem and people would hate him on release.
This is just a silly idea so don't take me seriously on this part, but it'd be kind of funny if the human form was a playable survivor. Though that would be a more suited arrangement if we ever got Jekyll & Hyde.
I'll dig it out and post it later maybe
