The Clown is trash

I've been trying to get Adept achievement as Clown. I played like 10 games. I get 1k in the best case. Usually the survivors just escape and bodyblock me from hitting the injured ones near the gate.
Got any tips for me?

Clown is an m1 chaser, he has no map pressure whatsoever. You can save time scouring cover by bottle tosing into a tree/wall/building and the cloud "rains" down scanning for you. It takes a bit of practice..also he's highly reliant on m1 to do much, so catching someone away from cover is important. Save the best for last, noed, and nurses can work well with his mangle gas..aswell as his cloud size simply for volume/searching and especially delaying their timer dropping off or activating another.

Don't get in the habit of reloading all the time, corks are nice but managing the bottles is key to him. He can also work very well in smaller maps..but again map pressure isn't his thing so he is hard capped against people who feel like playing survivor and not goofing off.

He said he is trying to get achievement, which means he can only run Clown's perks.

Don’t use your power to much as you slow yourself down every time you throw a bottle and he has so many bugs they might not work.

Keep trying until you get potatoes that don’t DC

You're a pure M1 Killer and your only power is that Survivors have to loop 1 less time. Not much you can do but get really good at mindgames and hope to get dumb players.

Save up your best addons for this achievement, and a map you feel confident on. Flash of Bleach + Ether 15 Vol% is probably his best combo. Otherwise, Pinky Finger and either Ether or extra bottle addons. However instadowns typically take away from your chaser emblem, and since you need to basically have a perfect game, you probably can't afford it.

Speaking of which since you need a perfect game that means people can't do gens. If you get even one silver emblem you cannot get the adept achievement. You need 3 iris and 1 gold. So you really do just have to hope for idiots so you can 4K at 4-5 gens left.

Oh, and they can't DC or suicide on hook, otherwise you also lose the ability to get the achievement. Have fun.

I tried it too. The rest survivors came to me. One of them fakes unhooking. The other one actually unhook the survivor.

If you want clown's power to truely shine..a building is your best bet..no you cant lob them as far, but any corner they hide in will be dusted if you smash a bottle off the roof. It rains a cloud down..easy finds..good short chase..and you create pressure fast.

Lery's and the game are your best bet really, but pallete's can get thick fast in there.

I think he's okay. He isn't god knows how good like Nurse or Bully but still isnt as bad as something like Leatherface or Pre-rework Freddy

Agree and I really enjoy playing him so I don't really care if he isn't a God tier killer

I don't know why but I rarely see a clown do it.

When you throw a bottle at the ceiling of the shack you fill the entire shack with the gas. Get good with the mindgames until you finally make it.

I don't think he is easy to play because you need some experience with loops to know where his power actually makes a difference and he is addon reliant because his base kit is just not good enough.

Clown is one of my faves, sometimes you 4k,. sometimes they all get away, depends on the team you face. I mostly play him just for fun though with noed/franklins builds

Pretty much my experience with Clown; either I get 3-4k or I get 1 or not a single kill. Depends on the map and the survivor skill but some maps really hurt Clown imo

But he is still a lot of fun to play
