Flip-Flop needs a buff.
You can have the offering to make hooks slightly further away, Use Unbreakable to get 99% recovery & use Boil Over to make it harder for killers to get you to hooks and you STILL can't wiggle out of the killers grasp due to how close hooks are, how terrible the Flip-Flop perk is, & due to the vacuum of hooks.

There is no reason to have only 50% of your recovery progression when you can only max to 50% wiggle progression from it & if you're going to have 50% of your recovery then you your max wiggle should at least be 70/80/90%.

It's a very situational perk but it STILL doesn't work even in the best case scenarios with other perks helping it.

Should just be a 1:1 with your recovery speed, up to 50%. 1:2 with your recovery is too janky.

Then do not use it mate. In my near 300 hrs playtime neves saw someone to use it. Why waste other perks to just help flip-flop. This is not good perk same as quentin perk to find medkit in first chest....

I feel like the best perk combination so far to use this is...

Flip-Flop
Unbreakable
Boil Over
Saboteur

Offering: Petrified Oak

Then you have to sabo a nearby hook & get far enough away from a nearby hook that's still up before you get downed. I managed to wiggle out 3 times in 1 match doing it this way (without Petrified Oak). Not really useful in a real match other than to waste a killer's time but only if they constantly pick you up. If they leave you alone then Unbreakable comes into play.

Flip Flop is useful if you got teammates that will bodyblock and distract.
tinytmss May 26, 2019 @ 10:52pm
if i do use flip flop, i will use unbreakable, tenacity, flip flop and boil over.

tenacity is good to get distance and recover at the same time :V unbreakable to recover faster.

Yup, it's pretty ussless

One time while using flip flop I was downed in the corner of the map after the 2nd to last was sacrificed in the corner hook. The killer then slugged me until I was one second away from bleeding out and picked me up. I proceeded to wiggle out and get the hatch because of flip flop. The killer then claimed in post-chat that he slugged me because he was farming his ability and that he didn't really wanted to sacrifice me anyway lol sure buddy

So, we're complaining about slugging, but to force the Killer to slug you is the suggestion you've shared with us?

I won't have a thing against it, but then stop complaining about slugging.

It's just one of the 100 perks that are way too situational and useless in this game. DEVs just love to create such perks.

Remember when 4 people could have DS so the best solution was to slug 3 people before grabbing anyone?
Flip-Flop looks like they made old DS and balanced it, but in taking away the ability to bully killers it lost the edge.
Turns out DS replacements either make killers Flip a table, or are a total Flop.

Yeah, I do remember it, but the Hooks were much closer to each other, so, dribbling was still a possibility to get rid of off the Decisive Strike.
No way to bully - Maybe, but it has done more harm to the Killers than goods, because now, there is no way to reduce the stun made by wiggling off.
Decisive Strike has had Enduring, but this has nothing.
So, they've added Mettle Of Man to cheer up the majority, and a free candy in there with it aswell.

Forcing killers to run a perk is a bad design solution. Dribbling was a solution, but it took a lot of the killer's time to do.

I can't wait for MoM to get nerfed. Free escapes are awful.

I'd replace Saboteur with Breakdown and just run Alex Toolbox.

If you are trying to farm the achievement:

Use the perks you said, bring a sabo toolbox, and burn an offering for The Game. Sabo the hook nearest one of the exit gates, and then let the killer down you by the entrance. The nearest hook is very far away. I farmed 4 wiggle meters toward my achievement progress in one game doing this.
