how to make friends?

i know how OP or unfair swf is, but im really sick of my teammates on soloQ all the time DC,troilling or something else, and even i always try to avoid playing swf because of the balance im thinking about playing swf, but in a casual way, without making the game experience of the killer bad. no toxicity, no tryhard, just in a casual and fun way.
a few months ago i reached rank 1 with both sides, after that i never really tryhard to get to this level, right now i play just for fun, and its really better then tryharding every single game.

i posted a few days ago in the "search player" section that im looking for
-non toxic
-casual/fun player
but i didnt get a respond, and i deleted this post, im just wondering how do you guys find friends? i have a lot of RL friends but they dont play this game.
im rank 13 right now with the survivor (because i always get bored and stop playing, and lose ofc my rank after every rank reset) do you have any tipps to get some people to play with?
or maybe im to old for this game and noone in my age plays this game (im 26) any advice for me? cheers

There is a DBD discord server... not sure what the address is.. but you can find people on there too looking for groups.

When you play a game and you play with people who are helpful and have the same play style as you ask to add for games. I play with one other person usually and we play almost nightly. Maybe we will see you out there :) We play for fun not to win really but we work as hard as we can to help those who que with us to get out. It's not easy to find people who aren't all about getting themselves out only.

sure i can add you and i dont mind if someone not using mic. but im not from america the timezone can be strange you know, but i think we will find time to play.

I don't know what it's like to make friends on DbD, I literally played with my red rank friend while I was grey ranks all because he introduced me to the game - oop. You could try Discord servers since I've seen stuff like that flying around, maybe even try adding people in matches that are of equivalent skill.
