First offence = hardware ip ban feelsbadman

My friend did the double killer bug which apperantly everyone in his lobby was fine with. he had a few games and then was banned for 1 week in which the turned into a perma ban but was his first offence so he bought a brand new copy of the game is apperantly hardware/ip banned from the game. This is really upsetting since i know people who have verbally abused me and told me to do things like end my self and stuff and still have freedom on the game doing what ever but my friend 1 offence gets bsed like that is kind of messed up. He learned that it was wrong but everyone didnt have a problem with it. Can i get a dev to please talk to me and him so we can sort this out.

Can confirm that I did the exploit once, prior to it being listed as a bannable offense, and got a 24 hour ban which immediately turned in to a permanent ban. Submitted a ticket and was denied immediately within 24 hours with this being my FIRST ever offense, which Ryuto claimed it was an escalation from previous offenses (never ever was punished prior) and yes it's a HWID ban as OP claims. Tried on 2 different accounts and received a ban shortly after getting to login screen from EAC which turned in to a permanent game ban issued by the game developer. Game is dead to me with over 500 hours played, all DLC owned, and multiple times my data being corrupted when it happened in the past. Got my 20$ worth originally plus the two extra accounts I bought to check if it was a HWID ban. Honestly I am not sad to leave the DBD community at this point if they are going to treat dedicated players like this for making one attempt, mind you I have the recording saved, to see if it worked to just report the method and leave immediately after.

Maybe it's because he did it after the the official warning? I did it as well but stopped immediately once they warned us. I received a 24hr ban.

Ok let's not compare this to that legion exploit. It was mostly used for memes. I doubt many actually used it to try hard against 3 survivors (one of which had to be your friend in order to do the glitch)

what differ does it make. As you yourself statet it was an exploit as such a normal person would conclude it may be punishable and devs did state it would give perma bans if you did it so don't give me this. Its okay to do it as long as you do not hardcore it

After all BHVR self claimed that using exploits don't receive perma bans within the first offence. I would like trusting your words but the fact you got a perma ban speaks for itself.
