how to open gate as killer?

i tried to open the gate when all gens is done but idk how. i try left click, right click on the gate panel but its not opening

you go up to it and hold space, you can only open it if you havent closed the hatch and neither door is open and you can only open 1 door

You cannot open it if end game has started.

End game starts when you close the hatch, so no you cannot both close hatch and open a gate.
