Both of them can only be countered by "noticing them in time". So how are they any different in that aspect then Ghostface?
Yawn.
Ghostface can and will see you through those low pass props like boxes and chairs and random scene clutter that serves as ambiance.
So yeah he definitely can collide camera wise to really ♥♥♥♥ folks over. But the devs know that. That's why they are trying to push his sale before they do something about it.
These guys listen to their marketing team too much and it shows.
As a matter of fact, I believe that both Pig and Wraith have a small advantage over Ghost Face as they can manipulate their stealth ability at will. The fact that survivors can take away your power without much of a consequence can sometimes be infuriating (speaking from personal experience). I had matches where one cheeky survivor was following me and constantly breaking me out of my stealth preventing me from finishing stalk on others. Considering the fact that GF's power doesn't help with chases you are forced to do the usual pallet ritual which, in turn, leads to fast gen progression. And we all how it usually ends.
What I'm trying to say is that once you figure out the how his power works and the flaws it has you'll understand that he isn't that overpowered.
ghostface's build is fully reliant on fast stealth at the price of it being taken away.
he isn't hard to go against: look around you while doing a gen and when you see him take cover and unstealth him in a good exposed spot.
or you can just take spine chill and watch him look around the gen trying to find you while you're hidden at a far place.
also the hitbox for unstealth might be kinda weird(long distances are harder)to land but once you get use to it you can take advantage of your 3rd person camera and unstealth him while he cant see you and also you should only break him out when you want to bait him or he has already seen you.
i do agree that is power is pretty powerful midchase to trick survivors on loops but even then he
only has no TR and you can still use your eyes.
he's not op. but he might get nerf because ppl are gonna stop trying.
Being aware of your surroundings doesn't help, since he's alerted when you see him. I often see a crouched Ghostface doofus walking right past me, and he only knows I'm there because I looked at him. Ghostface is way less visible than Wraith or Pig, which is annoying but not something I'm complaining about. Wraith's uncloacking allows survivors to plan their strategy, especially when silent bells aren't used. Wraith is a pretty fun killer to go against, I'd say, and I also like playing him. Pig's charge attack is pretty useless; I've heard the idea that her charge attack should injure and inflict a reverse bear trap, and I like that idea.
To again answer your final question, they don't have built in radar that allows them to be stealthy but makes it to where survivors can't be stealthy. I just faced Ghostface. We were one gen away from escaping, but he kept just crouching up on us and eventually got the 4k. (Our team made several big mistakes too). It wasn't fun, just frustrating and lengthy.
Except that's not what I argued, you're just repeating stuff you heard on some whiney stream probably. There are a lot of very strong killers that are also fun to play against, because they play by the rules of Dead by Daylight (maps, expectations on both sides, available counterplay, etc.). Freddy is overall stronger, but fun to go against. I think Billy is one of the most balanced killers, but very strong. I think Plague is probably the most creative killer Behaviour has made.
Nurse breaks a basic rule of the game (solids are solid), but she just got nerfed. Still really strong, but I don't care. Only Ghostface and Spirit frustrate me in the sense I see no point in the match and just want it to end. I lose to all killers at different times, sometimes horribly. But it's because I did something wrong, not because I didn't guess where to walk properly or I'm injured so I have to go down unless I run a perk (Spirit) or I didn't run Spine Chill on the off chance it's Ghostface so there's no real counterplay.
Ghostface can be beaten in the sense that after a chase begins he becomes an M1 killer. What I'm saying is it is FRUSTRATING to have each match reduced to this, and encourages objectives camping by the killer. I can lose and still have fun, I just don't with Ghostface.
I think his stealth helps him in chases a lot, but he has to be played in that way instead of a stealth/camping way.
The only thing I think is "OP" about Ghostface, really, is his directional indicators of survivor locations. Especially with one survivor left (or one slugged and one up), it makes the match pointless. But also, as I've said, I can't stealth away from Ghostface, which if we have to get into it is a lore friendly strategy against Ghostface in the films.
Anyway, my main argument is that going against him isn't fun and he could be made more fun.
No, I read your thread. I am not just automatically going "git gud". He is a stealth killer, he can be countered the same way Myers is, no allowing yourself to be stalked without notice, always keeping an eye out, keeping your distance, running and looping him around if he exposes you.
You kind of lost any good faith with your starting argument saying you feel like dcing when facing him (even if you havent started doing it) , this just means you are already frustrated to the point you dont really want to learn to play against him and all you want is the devs to carry you to the exit gates.
