I have seen people use the snares somewhat like the doctor's shock on pallets i.e making them scream and then getting a free hit, so it IS possible. I think when it comes to players vaulting a window that has a drop for balanced landing to kick in both are equally as likely to happen but i'm not sure which one buys you more "time"

Dream Snares. You can only see them if you're asleep completely. I believe they slow you down a bit when you step on them. You scream which unless you have Calm Spirit gives your location away.

Dream Pallets, they trigger whinny survivors! Also because they are fun.

If you want some efficiency = dream snares

Dream Snares are great near pallets and vaults. I've had 2 people in the basement and used all 10 snares in the basement and the steps, works like a charm.

I believe the stronger option are Dream pallets, they are more effective imo but i'lll end up using dream snares more to get better with them
