Why would I take aggro off my team mates? They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, I'm not going to punish myself for that lol. Just because they got found doesn't mean I should go sacrifice myself for them. They have the ability to hide just like me.
I know! It's so annoying. I just wish that they would rework it somehow to balance it out more
I used to be the same when I started this game, I would hide and only go for safe saves and Urban my way around the map. I often escaped too and when people would say wtf were you doing I would say things like 'well I escaped and you didn't so look at yourself'
But eventually you will become less immersed and realise that the game is a 4 vs 1, not a 3 vs 1 vs 1 and against stronger killers your team will be destroyed every time if you don't work with each other to achieve the objective. Hell the game literally rewards you for taking hits, diverting the killer and saving your team mates.
As you get more hours in the game you will realise what I am saying here and if you continue playing and get hundreds of hours into the game and you read back this thread, you will laugh at yourself, believe me.
Its funny since matches rarely even get to 15 minutes if a match somehow got to an hour it would be because everyone fell a sleep at there keyboard.
Also, i think you should know how the AFK crows work:
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Crows#Stillness_Crows
Just read up on them a bit.
This, a killer had whispers and backed me into a corner, i avoided him for 2+ mins, everytime he walked away i'd go for the gennie for him to come right back, i couldn't do anything really thankfully he gave up just as the crows started to appear, but there have been other close calls like that, and i feel the AFK system could be improved somewhat, as even being in the TR keeping the killer there is providing help to the team, as he's occupied while they can do gens.
But as the survivor stuck in that position, you get naff all for it and feel like a useless ♥♥♥♥, even if the killer did have you pinned the entire time.
