Any games like Dead by Daylight?
I really enjoy the game, but it gets kind of repetitive and annoying after so many games. Any suggestions for similar games?

Soul at stake.

It's basically a chinese version but not as much as a rip off as you might think. I'd rather consider it pretty unique. It's early access so it has it's flaws but I can recommend it.

Deceit. It's free on steam, and is fairly similar to DBD.

There’s Jason’s game and their shooting deathgarden game

Other then that idk but I saw some beta footage of a game that was like DBD but very dark and in first person and you used cell phone to text other survivors
Forget what it’s called tho

I was hoping there would be one like Dead by Daylight but single player or co op against AI. Like a story mode or a game where you wouldn't have to compete with someone who plays 10 hours a day. Sadly I can't find anything like it

Friday the 13th: The Game is fun... Was fun, actually. The last bugfixing update (which didn't fix anything as usual) was in January! EU servers are hell, the game doesn't have any moderation at all, so you'll stuck with cheaters there. The number of gamebreaking bugs is bigger than the number of players online. Do not recommend at all cost, the devs there are horrible!

Deathgarden: Absolutely dead, and you have to play FPS to be good at it for hunter
Friday the 13th: Dead or dying
Evolve:Dead
Soul at Stake: terrible ping in all lobbies bc chinese, nobody speaks, almost dead anyway.
Last Year: Probably your best option, but you dont really get to kill anyone, they come back.
Deceit: Another okay-ish option, but low playerbase and teaming for ez wins
White Noise 2: Dead AF, even though I personally though this was an amazing game.
Hide or Die: Not out yet, but they changed it into a persistent world instead of a 1v15.

Soul at stake has servers in USA and Europe now too. I got some pretty good ping in Europe... It's basically unknown for western countries, that's why the waiting loobies can take a while, but I get games in less than 2 minutes at certain times and people there write more in the pre-chat than I've ever seen in DbD. Plus - it has dedicated servers.

Yeah I tried it a while back, and no matter what I did I only got lobbies with asian servers, so I had like 700 ping at all times. It was annoying as hell. Maybe it's taking off now? I tried it around wraith cube because I was sick of the devs being incompetent.
Identity V PC Emulator Version. Lots of survivors flocked from DbD to that game. Graphics are what you would expect from a mobile game but don't let that scare you off. All the survivors are unique and you only have to earn perks once since they are shared with all survivors, Same goes with killers. Some interesting killers and the queues are instant.

Identity V, better than DbD.
Friday 13th the game, don't recommended because of player database. Game is dead.
Deceit, Free 2 play
Deathgarden: Blood Harvest

Friday 13, they recovered some playerbase, last year not in steam yet and waiting to see how hide or die looks.
McBujon 20 iul. 2019 la 14:43
Deceit, Friday the 13th, Deathgarden
Identity V on phone. Licensed by DbD Devs and for a phone game its pretty good because those are usually a scam of your time and money. But this one isnt no stamina and all that ♥♥♥♥.

Right now I'm personally waiting for the release of Hide or Die and the steam port of Last Year (which is currently available on Discord).

Last Year is similar to DBD in that they have a sort of similar lore, they're both in alternate dimensions with something bigger going on behind the scenes. It's less suspenseful than DBD in that there's no stealth, the killer knows where all the survivors are at all times and this information allows him to ambush them which can set up for a few jumpscares here and there. This comes with the trade off that the survivors can fight back with weapons like pipes and turrets and camera flashes etc. It's also much more consistent in that you play as established characters in a sort of 80's setting so everyone looks the part.

Hide or Die is a sort of battle royale version of the asymmetrical horror genre. You're dumped into a lobby with some 15 other people or something and one of you is picked to be corrupted into a killer. There is no way to fight back as a survivor until the very end final showdown between the final two players. Up until this point you have to completely rely on stealth and hiding otherwise you're basically screwed.

It's unique in the sense that in most horror mediums (movies or otherwise) the characters don't have access to a phone because quite simply a phone is overpowered. Hide or Die however, gives you a phone to start out with and you can use it as a flashlight to illuminate the dark environment you're set in as well as communicate with other survivors. This comes with the trade off that it makes you easier to find because the flashlight makes you more noticeable and the texting / comms capabilities you have create audio cues and noises which the killer can hear. Hide or Die unlike Last Year is not fully released yet and is still in some kind of beta so the information for the game is limited.
