Completely agree. I've been saying this for so long. The devs are happy that the player base numbers have been consistent but also happy that new players keep coming into the game.... but ignore the fact that if new players keep coming into the game but the player base stays the same, it MUST mean that either the new players quit or the veterans quit.
I have always said that trying to use novelty over game balance is a bad strategy.
Like having a horror movie marathon with your friends only if your the “least startled” everyone has to clap and cheer for you like it’s an accomplishment
Is there an Olympic hide and seek-Freeze tag next?
People go to such lengths for validation over simple enjoyment it’s insane
