Knowing both sides helps out when it comes to rank and so forth.. ( if you care about that stuff anyway. )
*EDIT*
As far as hours played as killer vs survivor.. I really do not know. I actually did play a lot of survivor as well as killer. But I do mostly play killer.. So the hours I have will be higher on killer obviously... *shrug*
But nothing is wrong with playing the side you like the most.
I've played only as a Killer in my 800 hours (or how many hours do I have...).
Yes, I can find fun there, and it is much more challenging.
Same here. Been a Killer main since DbD launched and can still count the number of Survivor games Iv played on a single hand after the Clown had his way with it. (2 maybe 4 games in total)
I just don't like playing Survivor and bought DbD to play as the Killer. So I don't bother to play as Survivor and keep to Killer.
Besides that, the choice is yours. Just saying, it wont hurt you.
