Please, if you don't know anything about this stuff, don't make claims. What you said is easy, just routine work.
Making an actual AI is difficult and they probably don't even have people with knowledge about the subject.
On the other hand, using scripted bots(with predefined behavior) is easier(not easy), but most likely this bots would be extremely dumb.
BHVR worked with Netease on Identity V.
Identity V has a KYF mode with bots.
Last I heard, Netease bought some stock in BHVR and even has someone on their board.
They COULD get Neteases help to get bots up and running.
