Offline gamemode or Singleplayer
I know, i know but i STILL think that its a good idea. There are good and bad sides of that, I just want to hear your opinion about that.
Sometimes im getting tired of this game because Online is STRESSFUL on every side. Offline should be an option. It will never replace online matches but some matches are SO toxic that you dont want to play this game EVER again.
Some people say that AI will be stupid and predictable. AI will be stupid if Devs make them like that and EVERY AI in EVERY SINGLEPLAYER is predictable. If its not predictable then its SKYNET and we are all boned. People played with predictable AI in games for AGES. What happened?
DBD is my favorite game and matchmaking is problematic. Sometimes i cant play this game at all. Iam not gonna lie its pissing me off. If only i could just start offline match and just have a great time in my favorite game. iam not joking here i have 1290 hrs in this game and i know some people have more but iam not a new guy here.
Again, just want to hear your opinion. After all this post is not about Caming, nerf or about anything else that makes people angry...

I log into the game every couple of months to check if the offline mode or bots have been introduced into the game. I would very much like that. As other people have already written, I am very tired of toxicity and terrible balance (18 levels are played with 12, 2 with 10). That is, the discrepancy between the skill level of the players. Considering this, having played a couple of unpleasant games, I would like to play against bots. Relax, calm down. I'm not saying that it will be interesting to play against bots all the time, but sometimes it would be great to play a couple of games.
Let there be basic and dumb bots at first, then it will be possible to improve / fix / change them if necessary.

I'd agree that it would be a great thing but it's very hard to program it and implement well working singleplayer mode, there would be very predictable or terrible AI.

Its hard to program ANYTHING i would say... Its hard to program new characters, its hard to model new cosmetic, its hard to launch dedicated servers. You are right it IS hard but... why not? Its good QoL update for this game.
Well just like they said:"You are tired, go play something else."
Iam not complaining, but this game is 3 years old. And it doesnt look like it

I would love more a singleplayer storymode, where maybe there are animated some events of the characters lore: Ex. when jake ran into the woods, or claudette taking the bus and falling asleep in it, huntress seeing her mom getting killed etch

Thath would be great but I prefer just offline version of normal DBD match. There is so many things you can do for Singleplayer!

Please, if you don't know anything about this stuff, don't make claims. What you said is easy, just routine work.
Making an actual AI is difficult and they probably don't even have people with knowledge about the subject.
On the other hand, using scripted bots(with predefined behavior) is easier(not easy), but most likely this bots would be extremely dumb.

For those saying so would be hard to program:

BHVR worked with Netease on Identity V.

Identity V has a KYF mode with bots.

Last I heard, Netease bought some stock in BHVR and even has someone on their board.

They COULD get Neteases help to get bots up and running.

That would require them to sign a contract with Neteases to work on the game, giving them a cut of all further profits that use their code, this would not be very smart for a gamemode they haven't really considered putting in.

Trust me, i know what iam talking about. And i will always respect Dev's hard work

Would be nice, but it still counts as a separate gamemode. I dont think devs want to split up the playerbase.

They couldnt get the meg in the tutorial section to run or behave properly until like 3 months ago in a random patch. Just give me dedicated servers and get rid of ♥♥♥♥ hitboxes and this game might still be alive in two years

Offline will never split the playerbase. I think new gamemode will tho.

That's a good point, but what about basic behaviour like the bots on the tutorial, with different difficulty (the higher the tier, the more gen & loop efficient they should be). Also put a setting to ignore or not chest & totems & other for safe unhooks only or just focus on gens / rescue last sec before 2nd stage & 3rd stage, etc.

I dont want them to take tutorial BOTS, they suck. Offline matches need to have their own AI, better AI. Iam not talking about bots that as smart as players you know...

BHVR makes zero money from making an AI/offline mode. Zero, none. They've also stated they have no interst in creating AI. They had a hard enough time with the tutorial (which breaks randomly already).
