how to get iridescent shards faster?

I just bought a Killer (The Hag) using shards for the first time, i have 80H, Level 46, that's about what it takes.

Level has very little to do with how well you do, it's 90% play time, so if you survive a long time in a trial no matter what you do you'll get a lot of EXP -> Level -> Shards.

Shards have nothing to do with the emblem system.

Play killer, the most effective is Wraith. Turn into invisible and go to the basement and turn your face to the wall, then go eat ice-cream some where for a few minute then the match will be finish.. Eventually survivor would finish gen and leave the game. Why do you have to go to basement and hide your face? Because some people would try to gain point by standing in front of you, or flashlight your face. Turn those off and they would get bored and finish the game. Shard are earn by a match you play, not how good or bad you present. This will reduce your rank a lot thought, but it's worth it if you are looking for some low rank entertainment after.

Is this bannable? I mean going AFK a whole game multiple times is kinda...meh.

You can report people for afk but it's a minor fault so I think it won't banned for long or permanently. Also people are super lazy at reporting unless it's something super annoying them like cheating or toxic play. "My friend" did this and he earn tons of shard.

Although i think the max is 10min so 600 exp (1 exp per second).

Well that's a bet then. Maybe you should try AFK and disrupt people to compare. Set up the clock and do the match which way benefit better.
