Plague or Spirit?

So I just finished clown with his teachables and thinking about buying new killer, as for now I have seen both good and bad plague/spirits so Its hard to tell which one is better. What do you guys think? Most important is skill ceiling and which killer is better if you reach one? Plague has nice map pressure and game slow while most spirits just woble around on phase, so pls tell me what you think is better. Would be greatfull for advice.

Spirit all the way. Much stronger and gives you better perks.

Spirit is easily the second best killer in the game. Go for her.
I love plague, but she can be incredibly hit or miss

As much as I love plague, spirit is the better killer and has the higher ceiling. The plague is essentially a m1 killer in disguise, get her if you like the m1 standard style.

Spirit cause she has better teachable perks and she is more powerful (need some training to be good)

Spirit, no question about it.

They are on completely different tiers as far as how strong they are as killers. I actually enjoy playing Plague but her map pressure is pretty poor and she can get looped to infinity like any weaker M1 killer, though she is fun to play.

Spirit is far easier to play and has Spirit Fury which is insanely good with Enduring. Survivors have to play guessing games to juke you in a chase, therefore she's harder to counter.

Plague can be extremely punishing for survivors and relies on momentum but is easier to counter overall, but she has Infectious Fright which is ridiculously good in my opinion (on certain killers anyway)

Don't think Plague isn't fun though as she is, it's just that she is a LOT weaker than Spirit :)

Survivor is kinda pointless tbh but even with that being said you're better to just get the entire DLC in one go.

Probably be cheaper in the long run, plus Adam Francis has deliverance which can save your life on a lot of occasions.

Go for chapter, unless you wanna get Spirit with shards. With chapter you get Adam which gives you Deliverance. Definitely worth it.

Spirit. Its not even close.

Spirit can

+Mind game loops

+yoink the unaware

+easily chase down wounded survivors

+traverse the map really fast

+give good and interesting teachable perks to other killers

+viable in all ranks, a solid A tier killer, behind only Nurse.

Downside

-Not as strong as Nurse

Plague

+Vomits on things

+can make people exposed if they get sick

+can potentially down multiple people at range with corrupt vomit

+can detect a little easier by infecting objects and seeing if someone gets sick and listening to coughing and vomiting noises

+great mori

+can work without add ons

Downsides

-Basically a C maybe lower B tier killer

-power slows her down

-people don't cleanse often so corrupt purge isn't availible

-without corrupt purge she is loopable and basically an M1 killer.

-if people decide vile purge isn't hindering their loops then you basically become a powerless killer

-is tall as hell meaning you can spot her coming a mile away

-countered hard by line of sight, especially trees

-sometimes super dependent to get add ons for just one corrupt purge all game

Maaaaaybe get the spirit full chapter for adam. A lot of people like deliverance, plus he can throw pebbles.

Only get plague as a standalone. Thicc survivor perks are trash
