Stream Sniping/TrU3Ta1ent
I really enjoy watching TrU3's daily DBD uploads to YouTube but for some time now he has been repeatedly and persistently stream sniped by a couple of losers.

They watch his stream so they know the killer he is using and make builds specifically to counter the killer, often non meta builds you wouldn't run otherwise.

Despite these losers persistently harassing TrU3 on a pretty much daily basis, he says there is nothing that he can do as stream sniping is not a bannable offence!

Is this correct and where does stream sniping cross the line into ongoing harassment as far as BHVR are concerned? It seems insane the same morons can continually and persistently harass TrU3 (who is one of the longest standing DBD content creators and a great non toxic influence), yet these snipers face absolutely no consequences and can continually grief TrU3 with impunity.

Is this really the policy on persistent stream snipers in this game?!

He had people snipe him too. It wasn't just sniping but tryin to ruin his games, nothing on gameplay, dc and so on. At some point it crossed a line which actually is a bannable offense, the part of ruining a users game experience. They keep just doin that and at some point bhvr will issue out permanent bans as they did to the people who harassed gamma. It wasn't easy and took too long imo but yeah it is possible.

Add delay to the stream.

Devs of PUBG banned for streamsniping on streamer's demand, that's along with other problems game had, led to high amount of negative reviews. And as some streamers can be paranoid cry babies, I pray to the Gods this feature will never find its way to the DBD, amen.

Yeah he probably needs to but it would have to be quite the delay. He has said he doesn't mind viewers playing in matches with him but has asked they pause the stream while doing so for obvious reasons. There are decent viewers who do just that too.

But he has these pathetic ongoing stalkers who he really shouldn't have to put up with but it seems like this is being permitted to continue without consequence.

Just seems wrong to me

You are getting "famous" by playing this game while you are earning money for that.
Expect to be in front lines.

So I don't see what's the real problem. Aside the fact survivors in the chat will admit they are stream sniping what carn BHVR can do?

Plus it's ridiculous how so many times, his fans crying for stream sniper when he is tunneled by a killer or juste killed.

How does this prevent counterbuilds from being used? Lobby time and queue time is more than long enough for someone to see what he is playing, even with a longer delay, unless his delay is massive, which is completely counterproductive to him interacting with his stream chat.

This is a streamer problem, not a game problem.

Yeah I used to play PUBG (it was my fav game before this) and you are dead right, players got banned for simply killing high profile streamers if that streamer even hinted at possible stream sniping.

I just find it weird that obviously ongoing and incessant harassment is not punished in DBD

So what, he should be persistently harassed because he makes content and the devs should ignore it? They are well known stream snipers who don't even try to hide the fact they are doing it but this is okay to you right?

Oh and you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, it isn't just his viewers crying stream snipers. It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that this is what is happening when it is the same people over and over who come into matches with specific builds nobody would run unless they know the killer.

Thank God your attitude is a minority either way

he could hide the survivors completely and the amount of people in his lobby so people won't know if they are joining him or not

i've seen other people do it

how does sum1 stream snipe a killer lobby? wait times for killer are much longer than survivor, u would have to be very lucky to time the search, especially with having to reinvite swf if u dont make it in the right one.

Do these survivors state thats their intent in end game chat? or is it just streamers blaming sniping because they got outplayed.

There are apps/sites where you know what killer lobbies are open and how long they have been waiting, there is a site in my region that does just that. So it isn't hard to know whose lobby you are in and if you are watching their stream you could use a build that specifically counters the killer they are playing (which borders on cheating imo as they are exploiting in a way that wasn't intended in the game since survivors aren't supposed to know the killer they are facing).

If they stream snipe him it's his own fault. The only way people could do that is if he made it obvious or had his twitch in his name and that's just asking for it really.

It's easily dealt with but a lot of people basically make it obvious and make themselves so inviting for it.

So because someone streams, they lose the right to have normal games and should just accept being persistently and repeatedly harassed every day?

He uses random names that change weekly/sometimes daily.

I can't understand the mentality of people who seem to feel that being a streamer means that you should just accept being continuously harassed.

maybe if true wasnt so sensitive about it and just enjoyed the game no matter the results. But hes constantly complaining so he is just giving them what they want, that is seing him rage.
