Imagine teabagging because you think you are the second coming of Jesus Christ playing DbD.
Oh my bad, Gen rushing doesn't exist, i meant focus efforts on gens. Same s--t, doesn't change the fact that gens are stupidly easily to do.
It isn't a skill as much as the fact as you slowly figure out "hey i can do this to make pallets last longer", people don't figure that stuff out instantly because the tutorial systems is complete rubbish and barely teaches the game. You BARELY can figure out how to hit skillchecks. You get shown pallets... once, maybe twice.
Bloodlust BARELY helps against looping, you get pallet stunned? Bye bye. You break the pallet? Bye bye. The only way you get bloodlust is if you force it to activate, which is easier said than done
Don't get bothered by the killer? I've had plenty of games where I was either rarely bothered or bothered only once before sitting back on the gen and just easily completely the objective. I've had games where the killer chased me and by the time i've gotten down the game was already half over, and I'm not some god tier looper. I suppose all killers are just really bad and just need to get out and outplay the gens, and that's really easy to do in a 4v1.
How can an AFK killer be rewarded with NoED? Just clean the damn totems, it's that easy, it's not like the killer is chasing you or anything. How can they outplay you with NoED? I'm shocked.
Hitting a skill check isn't that hard. That's the point i'm making.
Why would you not take the precaution to remove NoED if it's there's a chance?
Then I suppose Enduring should be a counter to DS and DS should be brought back to 3 seconds. I suppose kindred should be countered by standing still. Who cares if the perk becomes a joke, it's a counter.
Same could be said of Hatch close + End Game especially when the gates spawn next to each other. Free kill for the killer because you HAVE to come out and once they see a red light on that exit gate pffft. Doesn't matter how well you time, it's extremely rare to escape now if it's just one with end game.
That is false. Bloodlust was a bandaid fix for infinite loops.
No, you cannot say the same.
The basic premise of the game is survivors complete gens so the exit gates can be opened and they escape. It isn't survivors do absolutely nothing but hide and let their team die and still get a free escape, though this is what the hatch mechanic is.
The door spawn locations are RNG, the same RNG that can either work in favour of survivors (more often the case) or in favour of killers.
The hatch is a completely survivor sided mechanic, there is literally nothing about the existence of the hatch that benefits killers, it shouldn't even be in the game imo. However it is and I accept that and I actually don't mind if it stays.
But lets not pretend it isn't a free escape for survivors who potentially didn't earn it at all. But they still have the chance to get away no matter how well the killer outplayed their them and their team.
Lol you played stealthily as in you hid most of the match and let your team mates take the aggro yet you think you deserve a free escape for that?
I could hide all match too and get a free escape but those doing the objectives and taking the risks are more likely to end up dead before the match ends.
I had a survivor dc on me literally the second I got hooked by a Nurse, his excuse was that it was my fault for getting found lol. He thought he was the better player because he hid in the corner like a little ♥♥♥♥♥ waiting for the hatch while I was the one risking getting found by actually trying to get gens done. Yet the mentality of some is that they deserve a free escape (and it is a free escape) because he hid in a corner better than I did?!
And yes, if I absolutely destroy a team I damn well deserve that 4k if I want it. Killer isn't as easy as some survivor mains seem to think and wins are sometimes very hard earned, so an immersed survivor you never saw all match getting a free escape can feel a bit like a slap in the face.
But no, I'm not talking about the ones who don't do crap all game and hollar about not winning. I'm talking about the ones who do objectives, save, lose the killer a lot, and make it to the end. Why should you get THEIR kill because the others failed and because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic of end game?
Killers have the ability to close hatch now, something they've been wanting to do since forever. Apparently it still isn't enough and even though it is something they can directly interact with now it is still a "free" escape.
I've had many games where the killer remembers where hatch spawned and closes it almost right away.
Not to mention the possibility that the gates spawn close to each other making any sort of escape impossible unless the killer is a complete dummy.
If the killer feels entitled to a 4k, the survivor may feel entitled to an escape, and hide until the slugged one bleeds out. Extending the game and making it boring. Then the killer will probably throw a fit wont they? Not only did they not get the 4k, their time was wasted for several minutes, and the slugged survivor had to suffer from the scenario when they could have already moved on to a new game.
Regardless if you feel entitled to your 4k it is toxic and unfun, boring, and wastes time, and it is hypocritical because it is the same situation if a survivor was immersing around the map forever without being found.
The EGC overall is so killer-sided and was made entirely to prevent standoff and give killers the possibility of preventing a hatch altogether.
We also need to stop with the thought process that the last survivor does not deserve the escape or they simply want a free escape. Playing solo with braindead teammates and trying to escape via hatch shouldn't be frowned upon.
Killers do whatever it takes to 4k yet survivors get so much flak for trying to go for a hatch escape, and that it was undeserved or "I got 3 kills so I should win anyway." Pure entitlement.
