What means tryhard in DbD?
what im suposed to do to not tryhard?
i played against a swf 2red ranks 2 purples, everyone used Bloody party streamer (me too)
they did 0 gens, maybe bc i run PGTW, i got in the first 4 minutes like 4-5 hooks, i even get decisived 3times bc i hooked everyone so fast (without tunnel or camp)

end of the game.. tons of insults, because im a tryhard probably bc they used all BPS, but i played as always nothing really tryhard, so im wondering how to not tryhard survivor groups?
what im suposed to do, if you dont even do a single gen, oh i forgot one of them sabotage like 5-6 hooks, 1 insta heal, 1 key. while u run all this broken thinks, i run just a normal addon- spirit

just tell me how to not tryhard, and i will stop to tryhard.

Tryharding means trying to win. If you are trying to win, you automatically become a tryhard so there's no way of avoiding being a tryhard except trying to lose or not playing the game at all.

im just trying to make the game experienced as much enjoyable as possible for both sides, not a fan of toxicity, but if playing killer is always a tryhard then there is nothing to do about it lol

actually i never called a killer tryhard. unless he camped i just call him a camper cuz i always get called a camper when i camp as a killer. to be honest just play like you want and ignore whatever the haters say.

IN this case of there beiong 4 BPS, I would go with the flow and farm with them. Anything else would be waste of tons of BP which is always good to have. And its only 1 match. They called you try hard bcs you decided to play regular game instead of farming which as far as points go would be most logical decision.

Having said that, you are perfectly fine to play any way you see fit as long its within the game rules.

tryhards are usually associated with killers that run the best addon/perk combo possible and use the cheesiest strategy available to get the win ie tunnel/camping

for survivor its usually a 4 man sweat squad that pushes gens like mad, equipped with well you guys know......

personally if i end up in a game with full BPS and im being overly dominant i turn down and give the survivors a bit of a chance to get some points in, of course you can't expect every player to have that courtesy, some people don't get that

Tryharding means abusing any of the named and recognized tactics by the community. It doesnt matter if you discover them by your own, nor if they are intended tactics by the devs. You automatically become a tryhard

Tryhard means you'd do everything just to reach your goal not matter the cost!
Lets say the game is nearly over after 5mins but then you stall it for another 5 minutes just to get your 4k.
Or you are so eager to make points that you run towards a survivor on a hook even though the killer is already following you and will either down you or tunnel the other one.
Or you are so eager to not get killed that you lead the killer to other survivors so you might shake him off or even point at lockers when you know a teammate is in it!
In the end it means you forgot that it's only a game and you are playing it with others!
Just imagine all this behavior on a soccer field with tons of other people watching or a tennis court where you shake hands after a play!

I do the complete opposite, I refuse to tunnel or camp (except I will camp the last hook when exit is open) as I want everyone to have fun.

If you got no skill you tunnel camp.
As soon as you got enough hours in this game, start to not care anymore and have a decent skill-set you stop playing like a c**** ;)

Playing the game how its supposed to be played = trying to kill them all = you being a tryhard. Just ignore ignorant survivors. Unless you are face camping they don't have anything to complain about. A lot of survivors are boosted and expect every killer they face to be a potato so they can escape ez. If they can't handle getting killed in a video game where they are being hunted by a murderer why are they even playing?
