Good solo survivor build?
I'm still new to this game and at the moment main killer. But I do want to get better as survivor, I'm garbage at looping and am usually not very altruistic since I notice a lot of the time the rest of the team is trying to unhook people all game so I usually find myself repairing gens until the killer finds me, then the killer realizes I'm trash and tunnels me (Don't blame them, I do the same) So any advice for some decent perks that can help me out? I've been watching loads of videos on looping and such to help me get better as well.

Iron will, urban evasion, any exhaustion perk and spine chill. Great solo survivor set of perks.

Looking pretty meta my friend.

. Iron Will
. Self Care
. Premonition (Spine chill is good - but so many times I've seen how teammates got scared and run right to the killer, because they didn't know the direction from where killer was coming. Premonition shows direction)
. Urban Evasion OR anything else Or Kindred

For solo, kindred might be a good option. When your on a hook everyone can see each other and the killer if he is close by. Lets people know if someone is going for the save or the killer is face camping.

I'm going to give you an outlier solo build:

Resilience
Deja Vu
Alert
Lithe

Most problems as survivor are stupid teammates: Deja Vu gives you information on which gens you as the sole intelligent member of this "team" should concentrate on to evade a self made 3gen situation. Resilience helps alot when killer has tunnelvision and doesn't down you when you're the unhooker, otherwise it helps when your team doesn't understand that they should heal you maybe. Alert shows you the killer everytime he kicks something... And noobs drop all the pallets. If you keep track of his movement, you can estimate pallet empty regions and either evade them or sneak in and do the likely started gen in there. Lithe is the sprint perk of choice you can take another.

I like Dead Hard, Self Care (as solo survivors cannot rely on their team), DS for tunnelling killers and Adrenaline. I sometimes replace Dead Hard with Balanced Landing or Lithe

Get tunneled - DS, get slugged - Unbreakable, bad at looping - exhaustion perk to help you, survived until the end - Adrenaline. The best you can have.

Pretty much a meta build, which is the best choice imo.

There is a reason some builds are meta...

I run this set:

Self Care - Very important if you don't want to be relying on your teammates and chasing them around the map for heals.

Empathy - Allows you to see where your teammates are when injured, and this is most useful for gathering intel on killer location. Every time a teammate gets injured, I look around to see where they are, and hence where the killer is, which lets me know whether to keep repairing gens or to haul ass.

Premonition - Important for gen rushing as a solo, just being able to sit at a gen and scan around until it goes off lets you know 1) the killer is coming, probably to patrol your gen and 2) which direction they are approaching from. Spine chill is good but I have found myself running straight into the killers arms too many times using it, premonition is better for gens.

Kindred - Allows your teammates to see each other, and the killer if he is nearby, when you are on the hook. This gives you a way better chance of being saved, as the other survivors aren't all assuming someone else will save you, and can see when you're being camped.

Hope this helps :D

Decent though I would swap Premonition for Spine Chill as it is a far better perk with no cool down like Premonition.

I used to swear by Premonition until I learned how to effectively use Spine Chill and now I wouldn't even bother with Premonition

Spinechill also helps counter ghostface.
