question about ghostface

So im pretty newbie here but how come ghostface can simply backstab me to instant kill me, instead of having to put me on the pike? he injured me once, put on pike. I got rescued, he got me again and when I was crawling, he killed me. Is it just him or every killer can do a fatal blow and don't need to impale everyone for the sacrifices?

The killer has a Mori which means they can kill you after hooking you once. It’s not something they can do every time, they have to use an offering to do it or equip the devour hope perk and have several rescues from the hook.

Every killer has the ability to do this btw.

It's cause they brought an offering called a Momento Mori or used a perk to do that (probably the first option).

So once you're hooked once, if he downs you again, he can just kill you on the spot. Any Killer can do this.

And then there's Myer's one add-on that outright kills you in EW3, no hooking needed.

How do I kill someone after hooked them? it happens alot that I need to put em on pikes again and again. Would save me time lol

Most common way is to use the offering with the skull. The green one allows you to kill one person, pink one allows you to kill all survivors and the yellow one allows you to kill the last survivor.

Equip an offering that has "mori" in the name, and read the description for the requirements to use it. It's not intended to be a mechanic you use for every game, and rewards you with fewer points than sacrificing survivors on the hook.
