Is Urban Evasion worth it ?
Is anyone have experience with it, how good and viable is it in a game. Is it good in a chase? Stupid question but it does not leave scratch marks right? Anyway is it worth having or is it useless on practice?

It can be useful in a chase only with 1 particular build, which is Lithe + DWM + Q&Q. Otherwise, it's a piece of crap, avoid it at all costs.

I used to use it a lot and I think a lot of survivors make use of it at the start. Really useful for juking killers where you run out of sight then Urban away as it doesn't leave scratch marks.

Urban can be really useful against Nurse, Spirit and Hag (as it doesn't set off Hags traps so rescues are far faster and easier).

It's actually one of the best perks in the game, it's supposed to be used with Spine Chill or Premonition, also goes fantastic with Iron Will (not with what the that guy said above). It's a stealth perk designed for stealth builds and you use it to "NOT" get detected in the first place not try to use it after you've been found lol.

Urban Evasion is not necessarily a bad perk, but just be prepared that many people will see you as a noob straight away and wont bother to save you on hooks and stuff. Its hated by many.

i mean nothing wrong with good oil "Urban immersion"

It's very good! I've been using it since the beginning! Always staying low helps make the killer not see you, and is very useful when killers check around objects, allows you to move fast enough around them so you don't get caught, while staying low so they don't see you overhead! Also keeps you from running around everywhere like a crazy person (while having Urban Evasion, always keeps me crouched just because I can move fast with it) so you don't activate traps like the Hags or walk into bear traps! I highly recommend it if you like avoiding the killers! Not necessarily needed though if you like being a killer distractor! It's used more to avoid the killer, and lose him! But if you like secretly helping people, fixing gens, and not having the killer on your behind the whole time, it's recommended by me! :suzuko1:

It honestly depends on your play style.

I don't loop, I always try to break LoS and hide. It helps me immensely in that regard since I can move faster with a lower profile. Iron Will + UE is in all my builds now. I tend to get downed a lot during a chase, but that is mostly because I screw up and I'm still learning how to evade and hide.

Killers don't look for an evasion frequently since Looping is the meta. I've managed a number of excellent jukes in this fashion and left the Killer scratching their head in confusion. It's just a lot harder than mindlessly running in a circle.

Quite useful against a lot of Killers since you can move a good bit faster and keep objects in between yourself and them. Hag, it's of course fantastic versus her traps. Spirit as well since as soon as you hear the whoosh you can crouch and get behind something quite quickly. Makes it a lot easier to avoid her.

Do you like playing stealthy?
Dark Kyle Jun 25, 2019 @ 1:52pm
dont be those people that always use it and never runs to save people :/ happens to much

If you want to be the gen-jockey of the team - go for it. Gen-jockeys profit more from being stealthy, so they can urban around a rock while the killer kicks the gen and get back to it the second after. Or to gtfo if a teammate leads the killer straight to them. Also good if you're going against hag and spirit.

Ultimate stealth build: spine chill, urban, quick and quiet and iron will. On a Blendette. If you're not getting hated for it, you're doing it wrong.

Stealth is very underrated in this game. It can help out a ton, so 100% try it out, it's good

It's totally useless. This game isn't meant to be played "stealthy". If that was the case, scratch marks wouldn't exist. Just avoid it.

You can give the killer the slip if you know what you're doing. It's not always easy, but you can slip away from the killer by simply walking or crouching, since you stop leaving scratch marks when you stop running
