Spine Chill counters Spirit
When Spirit uses her power, spine chill lets you know that she is looking at you. This allows you to walk or crawl the other direction. I highly recommended that you use spine chill and iron will. These two perks help me to keep on my toes when I face killers in general. I actually happy that there is another perk that counters her! :steamhappy:

I played with it for a few weeks, it sometimes helps but most of the time it just tells you that you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. But its extreamely good vs stealth killers like pig or GF so id recomend people to try it anyways. And it affects vaulting speed :lunar2019coolpig:

For maximum vaulting speed currently:
Resilience + Spine chill

Not much, but a few times it saved my booty from the killer.

back then even leader worked, but now they realized it is too much.

Or you could just take the loud vacuum sound as a cue that she's coming and you should move. Thinking.

It's only useful if it's a prayer beads spirit. So, not worth a perk slot because for the rest I can just use my eyes, ears and common sense.

Did you skip the part where I talked about the vacuum coming your way?

The using your eyes part is more of a reference to the stealth killers you mentioned.

This perk is overall nice. If you are almost done with the gen and the killer looks at you. This perk will reward you for staying on a gen or totem to complete it. I face a lot of stealthy killers and this perk saves me a lot of times. This perk is good for every killer, even they are not steathly killers.

If you wanna use it, use it. For me it's a wasted perk slot. It's not 2016 anymore and I actually learned how to play the game.

In general Spine Chill promotes super boring gameplay.

These days I only use it if I wanna piss off killers by playing super omega Blendette that you will never even see once in the entire game. :) Killers really enjoy that.

[/quI am at high ranks and this perk doesn't promote that whatsoever. I am at high ranks not because this perk got me there. It may be boring to you, but I love it when I juke the spirit or other killers. There is a lot of ways to use this perk to fool the killers. I don't think people really take the time to figure out perks. People rather use perks that make survivors brain dead. I honestly think this perk is underrated. There are a couple youtubers that I am willing to link about spine chill.

alsp thing its waste of perk slot. But it has some values. OP was telling people to try it out, see if someone likes it, not claiming its some meta break.

Iron Will and Spine Chill have two things in common.

They both rythme at the end.
And they're both underrated.

Nah, they'll rather ask for nerfs, telling you, that using one Perk slot is way too much - But, also, using one Perk slot for Hex: Ruin is OK, not even that much, although, we're still talking about the basics of math; 1:1.

Double standards seem to be the cases, as they've confirmed in a thread, where around six people wanted to promote their logic - "Rin shouldn't be able to have collisions, but she should be unable to walk through walls."
Logic 0/10.

"Rin shouldn't be able to see, what do you do in the environment."
Logic 1/10.

"Rin shouldn't be able to hear Survivors' footsteps, breathing, and crying in pain."
Logic -5/10.

"Rin should be visible, while using Yamaoka's Haunting."
Logic -47/10.

Tbh I used to think like that on the on the second one when she was first released lmao. I didn't really know how to counter her and rant about how she wasnt countered. Everytime I think about now, I always laugh about that idea I had.

You don't need to link all these videos, they've already spread too much. I don't know where this trend came from to call Spine Chill an underrated perk when it's not.
It used to be meta in 2016 back when Wraith was considered OP because no one knew how to play. And then people got gud and didn't need Spine Chill anymore.

It promotes a boring play style because most Spine Chill users combine it with Urban Evasion and then spend the entire match hiding in a bush. As your teammates they are completely useless and when you're killer they are super boring to play against because you never see them.

And let's be honest, no one ever uses Spine Chill for the vault speed.
