Inner Strength is a TERRIBLE Idea
At least until totem spawns are fixed (i.e. 9/10+ are well hidden), the last thing we need is for them to be EVEN MORE sought after. A ton of people are going to drop self-care for this perk so killers might as well forget about running ruin, devour hope or NOED. Thrill of the Hunt is going to be the only totem perk I consider. Sad

I think people are mis reading IS's effect
it can only heals you ONCE.
after that the perk turns off.
It turns off after one full heal, but you can cleanse another totem and activate it again. The description states loud and clear that you can use it multiple times.

So if no one cares about totems except you, you can heal yourself with IS up to 5 times per match.

...Which means another survivor wasting time finding totem to heal themselves, possibly took longer than a self care, while not doing gen at all

and how is that a bad thing to killer or even op?

I think the real message is
Survivor complains
Gets perks to help them
Killer complains
Git gud/play something else

Nah doesn't sound right.

Nice try though. Oh and anytime you want to say something about survivors, remember this ... the devs felt so sorry for killer mains they gave you a built in perk lmfao
It sounds like survivors are getting a lot of stuff thats built in. Free heal when hiding in a locker. Heal up automatically when your pulled off the hook and get outside tr. I think this along with what survivors already got gens are going to get done even faster because they will be healing less.

You don't even need to search for totems, because their spawn locations are just... hilarious.

- You can spawn right beside a totem
- You can walk for like 5 seconds after the match started and already find one totem
- You can find the totem while running from gen to gen
- You can find the totem while in a chase and memorize it's location for later so you don't waste any time

And so on.

I never said this perk is OP, but people seem to not understand some basics of this game. It reminds of people crying about NOED, but refusing to do totems because "iTs A wAsTe Of TiMe".

Deactivated perks can not be used again. Just like DS and MoM

Wait until it's actually released, then we can talk about nerfs.
I do agree that totem placement is a joke though.

It deactivates so you can't use it multiple times in a row. You need to find another totem if you want to use it again.

Is it really THAT hard to understand what "Each time you complete a totem cleanse..." means? It doesn't say "Once per trial...", devs did not say you can use it only once per game, so you're wrong.

When they were explaining Caramaderie, they stated that you can use it once per game. If Inner Strength works the same way, why didn't they say anything about it? And why did they even mention the situation where multiple survivors running it and that there are only 5 totems on the map? Surely you don't need to worry about it if this perk is only one time use, right? That's what I thought.

Deactivated perks cannot be activated again. Just like DS and Mettle of Man
If not, you would be able to use DS and Mettle of Man multiple times as well

Why would you use this than self care? SC has unlimited uses, you will you use this perk a Max of 3 times if you are lucky, half the time to heal up? Well you can use a medkit for that and run a more useful perk instaed

Even if totem spawns are laughable it still takes your time to walk around a map to find one. 14 seconds to cleanse the totem itself, then you have to get to a locker, you have to wait 10 seconds inside it.
That's 24 seconds+However long it's gonna take you to find a totem. Which can be pretty long especially if people just start cleansing totems for reasons like 1k bloodpoints, countering NOED or simply also running the perk[Oh and it only has 5 possible uses for EVERYONE in the match]. Self-care is 32 seconds but without any aditional stuff, you can even speed up the process when getting great skillchecks.

After being unhooked
After you earn 3 protection hit score events
So I can use DS and Mettle of man multiple times a game?
;3; how terrible some ppls here might have to learn to play without lord noed

No its easier to play with noed ranking up as big boosted just to reach red ranks to than complain that killer is Up and survivors are toxic

Let's say it takes around 6 seconds to find a single totem in the open, then it's 14 seconds to cleanse and then it's 10/9/8 seconds to heal inside a locker but you need to find the locker first.
So in total, it's nearly the same time to heal yourself as with Self Care but you spend time looking for a totem, cleansing it, looking for a locker and healing inside instead of standing in 1 place for 32 seconds. You're giving the killer the same amount of time when healing with either of these perks, Inner Strength just seems more fun to use.

Pluse a max 5 time use self care in the best case scenario
